When people leave when you trigger a heroic in the dreaming city
Seriously I'm only 512 I cant do a heroic taken blight on my lonesome in the dreaming city! If you're in the area, Lend a hand guys!

1 ReplyMost people even in groups of 5 - 6 can barely do normal public events in Dreaming City at ~510 of course they'll bale on heroic versions.

13 RepliesI made the mistake of trying to one of the Lost Sectors bounty for Petra. The one in Rheasilva or however it’s spelled. First enemy I saw has question marks. Turn around immediately, good laugh though.

My favorite thing is when you message them and offer to explain it to them, and they reply calling you things I can't say without getting banned on here.

I cant even find people in the dreaming city right now. I see one guy like everyone 40minutes and its always them just driving past me during a public event

1 ReplyI'm not seeing folks turn out for public events in general there the way they do in other regions. I think it has to do with the lack of fast travel points.

I'm still just barely over 500, so the public even enemies are immune to anything I dish out at this point. I'm guess the people you are seeing leave are in the same situation. As people level up, I'm sure you'll se better public even participation

Right now part of the issue is the vast majority of people aren't at endgame and thus not in the DC. I think as time goes on, we'll have far more there. But I do agree with some folks saying we need more FT points. Even if there is only one by Petra.

3 RepliesThe best thing to do, if you are solo, at least now at low light, is not activate heroic. Unless there are several people to help you. The bounty doesn't require heroic mode. So I think that's why people leave.

Every public event in Dream city is empty... I spent like 3 hours trying to run a full heroic and nobody around... so dumb

1 Replysome public events people STILL dont know how to make heroic. it took me almost until warmind to figure out that if i went in the small blights and got taken energy i could damage the big blight - but many players still shoot and destroy the mini blights before anyone has a chance to kill the big one and make it heroic, even in the EDZ! i think by now the vanguard should have been issuing in game advice on how to make blight public events heroic, so players can get vanguard notices in the chat, which makes the chat light up so they read it - or better, have zavala come on the radio and tell them not to shoot the blights in the bubbles - wait in the bubbles until you have taken energy, then shoot the hovering blight to get the big boss out to play.

Actually you can as I have done twice now. Wardcliff will open the blight pretty quickly and also kill the boss quickly too.

4 RepliesYou've got a lot of new players....and players who haven't mastered how to deal with enemies when their character is underlevelled. There is one Lost Sector in The Dreaming City who's recommended power level is 560...and I had pick my way through it like a Y1 D1 Nightfall when I took it on as solo player. Even had to remember the delta scaling at one point when I tried to switch out my shotgun to a sniper...and dropped my power level too low. Took me couple of minutes at trying to snipe AI's on the other side of the map and seeing, "Immune" to realize that the weapon switch had dropped my power level too low. All things that someone new to the game won't have a handle on....and my just respond to it by avoiding the thing that frustrated them.

Kinda hard to do the heroic when the power level needed jumps up and all the enemies are now immune.

I’ve done a few but with already hundreds of dark fragments and nearly a thousand materials there’s not much point in doing them for now. I drive past most of them, not enough time need to chase them power engrams.

1 ReplyNot sure what region your on then. The Americas region I'm 509 and everyone in the vicinity dogpiles every event I've done and in heroic mode. Nine times out of ten it feels like I'm on Titan with all the gunfire, explosions and shit. Mobs screaming for their mothers etc.

Its actually... Not hard.. Its just hard alone, if you had at least one other person its very doable, people are just so afraid to do them for zero reason, its crazy
