6 RepliesAnthem is just co-op RPG from what I can tell. No mention of raids or anything right now. Personally, I am super excited for Division 2. The developers actually listnend to the community and feedback and acted on it. 8 man Raids too, nice.

13 RepliesI will be pre-ordering Anthem to try out the Beta. Don't like 3rd person over the shoulder Shooters, but I'll give it a try. I will not be preordering Forsaken, and will evaluate the Quality of Game changes they made after it drops with Warmind DLC. Bungie's Reality Distortion Field and Jedi Mind Tricks will not work this time around.

Anthem is already dead. Think Monster Hunter in Space, with enemies and bosses that are more of a bullet sponge than Destiny. It looks like one of those 360 games that was REALLY AMBITIOUS, but has no depth, and replay value will be piss-poor. You honestly cannot take an online 3rd person shooter seriously these days, all the BS tactics that happen in games like Anthem, have already been exploited for over a decade. Why did the Division fail? 3rd person. Only reason. Unless it is a melee based game, 3rd person should not even be considered for this generation of gaming. Skyrim yes, Fallout no... sure it's hard to put into perspective, that this is why your multimillion dollar game, cannot keep players interested, but it is 100% fact, that if you can see around corners and hide from danger, and then pop out and shoot people, your game will be full of campers. Nobody likes campers.

2 RepliesMeh, Anthem will likely burn just watch. I don't trust EA. Rather put my eggs into Borderlands 3 with a dev that gives them time to iron out the game and not rush it.

I'm not saying Anthem won't be better than Desitny. But you're as misguided as anyone who ever bought something they hated later, if you think Anthem is some fecking silver bullet of a game. You can read about how all their development is fecked up. And you can read all about how the BioWare of today is ZERO like the BioWare that did no wrong from 10 years ago. It's literally the same story as Destiny.

I was going to get anthem, but then I saw the same slow movement, crappy AI, box room, bullet sponge bosses we have in Destiny and realized the only difference is superior visuals and third person. I hope things change before release to change my mind, but it is the same shit at the moment.

13 RepliesHahaha I can't wait for Forsaken to shut the mouths of all the neh sayers. Bungie is still hands down the best in the business. Say what you want but you will be playing Destiny with the rest of us because there is nothing that can touch this franchise or this community. Period. I will get Anthem and Red Dead etc and I'll put them down like I did Sea of Thieves, AC Origins, etc. I always come back and get my milestones or bounties or strikes, raids whatever. And playing with friends is also best with Destiny. So move on if you think you can.

2 RepliesWhat's really sad is that when you play through a bit of Anthem, like the campaign and stuff and once you get past the whole "OMG, this game LOOKS SO GOOD!!" you're gonna quickly find that you got suckered into buying a game that has little to do and no one to do it with. And then you'll look up Destiny on YouTube and see there's a lot more to do. I hope I'm very wrong about what I just said.

Yep and a good thing to hear is that the micro-transactions while there(almost made me not want to try the game), they are also in game loot drops. Hopefully if ea was watching, it will actually be a loot drop and not an eververse
