So I'm playing rift and die, happen to respawn right near my zone just as their runner is coming in to dunk. My trusty suros and I drop the spark runner, then his partner, switch to my Havoc Pigeon and drop a third coming around the corner on Bannerfall. By then I'm pretty hurt and random player number 1 comes up and body shots me with a palindrome. Proceeds to bag. Now what did he do other than shoot poorly that constitutes dropping a bag? I'm all for dropping a decent bag if you do something cool but let's go over what in my opinion, does not constitute bagging someone:
1. Finding me alone in a hallway and killing me with any super.
2. Killing me with a sticky grenade of any type.
3. Killing me with a vehicle (and why would you get out to bag anyway)
4. Bagging in rift after you weren't even the guy to dunk it.
5. Bagging someone in rumble after a crossfire where you didn't even get the kill.
6. Getting revived in trials after the match is over and bagging people you didn't even help kill.
7. Lastly, and this blows my mind, bagging your own teammates.
Now, I think some things do deserve a bag:
1. After I put two shots into the dome of a hunter and he blinks behind me and Chaperone's me in the dome. Give me that bag.
2. Run up on the point and nova/foh/golden gun and kill me and my 3 friends, bag away.
3. Drop me and my 3 buddies with sniper shots and let me see a phantom pop up, bag away.
4. Leap over my suncharge and 3 tap me in the air, bag away and then go get a girlfriend because you're too good.
5. Do that ridiculous trick of shooting your nova bomb up in the air and somehow killing everyone on the other team's heavy ammo, see tip 4 about getting girlfriend and bag away, then dance, then show a crane kick, then go play the lottery.
6. Relentlessly tracking one single player on the other team that bags after every kill, completely ignore the objective and solely focus on killing him with your entire team and bag him for the rest of the game.
Anyway, just my thoughts Guardians. I dislike teabagging and I wish this community wasn't so toxic. Instead of throwing some bags, I wish everyone would just send a compliment to someone on the other team that really put you in your place or gave you an education. Just my two cents!

It's toxic, try to ignore. It's one of those "cool kid" things.....we both know they're salty and angry people! 😀

How do I like the tea bag comment without liking your point of view? Anyone know?
-
Teabag all day every day

I get a laugh at the ones that do it after knowing they cant get kills without spamming abilities or always using special because I know in a few weeks, theyll be screwed in D2's crucible. It may sound crazy but you CAN be very good without abusing special!

Hmmm, I too was bagged yesterday on Bannerfall, we were down around 8000 points, Shaxx even told us we needed to fight. All of the sudden we take command, I manage to get in the enemy zone upstairs. I'm playing striker Titan so I can peek out the door and throw my lightning grenade at the wall across the canopy to protect me, from anyone coming up the canopy, I peek out and start destroying people near the rift. We end up coming back and winning 20 something K to 19 something K. After the match has been called a dude finally killed me and proceeded to bag me, I killed this dude a bunch, he ends up with a .67 and I end up with a 1.75. I mean really? It's already a bitch move to bag at the end of a match, but with a .67? I hope it made him feel better because he sucked.

You sound like a grown up; he probably wasn't.

3 RepliesCelebratory Crouching has applied to a variety of non-kill, low-leverage situations since the very first bag dropped. It quickly descended into the realm of absurdity, from being a way to idly pass the time, to a way to taunt from a distance. I still can't quite understand how offense can be had here. It's a meaningless gesture that tells us just as much about the bagger (depending on situation) as it does the one being bagged (depending on reaction). Simply put, it is in line with any other kind of trash talk found in any kind of competition. And it's most effective as a way to rile the opposition. Case in point, I use it when my team is being routed in the hopes that the other team will get all twisted and fall off their game.

The only acceptable time to tbad in my opinion is if you get a really good kill and only tbad if it's your kill.

Aside from obvious reasons that everyone agrees on, I just get in a mood sometimes and do it for the hell of it. Lately it's been bagging while spinning in place firing off my primary on the ground or in the air. Imagine that and try to tell me you wouldn't laugh at that if it happened to you.
-
If they bag you it's normally because you've made them salty, so I wouldn't worry about it
-
Me it's not understanding how someone can bag somebody else's kill. Or team shoot someone and do it, which I'm like it takes of you and you think you owned me lol okay....

3 RepliesTea bagging is just a dick move.

My favorite emotes are the enthusiastic dance, slow clap, and cower. Also props to you if you know where the Rude Taunt is from... (It is amazing)

My balls get dry

without bags?

You only teabag if you win a fight you absolutely should've lost, or if someone teabags you first

2 RepliesPosts like this are why I teabag everyone whenever I can. If I need to die 20 times to teabag 7 times then so be it. I will teabag you 7 times and smile when I get teabagged back because I know it is only out of anger.

2 RepliesF.uck you thats why!
Sorry i was getting into the mindset of the teabagger
- Zesty

1 ReplyTo 💼 or to not 💼? That is the question....

If we get into a battle rifle duel, you get the first shot, and I survive, you get bagged. Wait, is this 20 years ago?

2 RepliesEdited by RabbitFly: 8/14/2017 10:50:39 AMThere really isn't or rather shouldn't be an acceptable reason to teabag. It's just extremely childish. Not to mention the only reason to do it is to get a rise out of someone. The fact that you find some reasons more acceptable than others just makes you part of the people willing to go there. The only real way you can claim superiority in this situation is to stop tea-bagging, and then stop caring when someone does it to you. Knowing that you are the more mature player in the situation.

1 ReplyIt isn't, Microsoft started banning players who tbag. It's considered disrespectful and unsportsmanlike behavior.

I only teabag if I ruin someone's career. For an example, I was playing skirmish and these two guys were camping with shotguns in one of the corner rooms in anomaly and I rushed in shot telesto bolts at both of them, killed one and took half the health of the other and melee'd him to finish him off. So I started to bag them. But keep in mind that they kept sitting in those rooms with just shotties and stickies.

I t-bag, or clam slam in the case of my Warlock, in the Crucible and PvE bosses because I can.
