The Last Iron Banner
I love the Destiny series but you guys couldn't do something a little more special? "Here's the last Iron Banner after over 3 years of nostalgia and history, today were giving you the hand cannon and sniper rifle". The whole thing is just slightly disappointing.
Edit 1: Wow, only 3 minutes in with 6 upvotes and tons of support, I was definitely not expecting this, thank you.
Edit 2: Holy shit, the amount of support is crazy, I haven't got any hate so far, even "butthurt" is supportive.

Edit 4: The inventory is apparently refreshing daily, so I'm gonna hold off on this post and wait, thanks again to everyone supporting this.
Edit 5: TheGreatNike has pointed out the timer hasn't been changed since RoI, no stock refresh

1 ReplyThe vain hope of attaining interesting rewards from this last IB has brought out the red-bar warriors in force. Games are unplayable. Find yourself facing an opponent wielding a primary? Don't worry, teleport out of the firing line and stick them with a grenade! Sorted. Oh and t-bagging for winning a match with every single player on your team red-bar? That's cool as -blam!-!

Maybe if they were giving out all the y1 weapons, or all the weapons and armor and general, that would of given me a reason to come back and mess around with some of the good ole y1/y2 weapons.

Played a single game. Used my Hunter, my worst character, had a 1.5 KD and had two legendary drops.. Thought it couldn't get any better than that.. So I'm done.

Back to the titan today for the first time in months. Should hopefully be a ton of fun going into this glorious cluster -blam!- of a crucible one last time! Looking forward to the a new challenge with D2 but I'm not sure it will ever be able to replicate the sporadic ridiculous fun that D1 offered!

When they said "You’ll discover the rewards in the offing when you visit Efrideet" I was thinking it would be something epic like exotic versions of the current IB weapons and armor. If it refreshes daily I hope they at the very least bring back some year one IB weapons. Still a little disappointed it wasn't more on the epic scale.

Played a couple games tonight, Me and a buddy shooting at 1 guy, both of us landing shots (as in his head was taking the impact animations) He killed us both, 3 seconds later he died and 1 got the kill Glad they decided not to change iron banner too much =.=

No nothing special because bungie logic says IB is just moving to D2. So they don't and or won't do anything extra.
