So recently the Omnigul farm got patched, right? And with a dead farm comes people looking for a new one (one of such people being me). Put your farms in the comments to help us all out
Unless you hate farmers like me, in which case, put your best farms in the desc anyways in hopes of them being patched.
P.S. - I don't NEED these farms - I'm perfectly fine with playing the game the way the devs intended - but I (and I'm sure many others) would like to know of one in case they need it.

EDIT: I'm looking for farms (such as loot caves or exploits (Omnigul, for example)), not strikes/activities (patrols, PoE, Archon Forge, etc).
Please, don't tell me to do those unless there is some sort of farm in those (in which case, you should specify.)
EDIT 2: I'm pretty sure farms like Pepperidge and Old McDonald's were patched last year.
EDIT 3: I CANNOT STRESS THIS ENOUGH. I DON'T NEED THESE FARMS, AND I HARDLY USED ANY THAT HAVE SHOWN ON THIS THREAD TO REACH 365. I PLAYED THE GAME LEGIT AND THE ONLY REASON THIS THREAD IS STILL HERE IS FOR THE PEOPLE WHO NEED THESE FARMS. I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP TO KNOW THAT FARMS ARE EXPLOITS AND YOU DONT LIKE THAT, AND THAT PLAYING THE GAME LEGIT IS "ALWAYS" BETTER DESPITE ITS OBVIOUS INEFFICIENCIES.
Farms mentioned:
-Do Sepiks Perfected over and over
-Black Garden/Iron Tomb mission, pop 3oC before each statue/remnant
-Pop 3oC, kill boss + yourself at the same time
-Do the gjallarhorn mission, leave the ghost + enemies will spawn "for days"
-(to be continued)
Other things which are kinda farms but not really:
-Archon Forge
-Strikes
-Trials
-Iron Banner
-PoE
1 ReplyThey patched rubber band mode it was too op. After roughly ten minutes it notices your running in circles and sends you back to orbit.
-
6 RepliesSigh... This is sad. Just play the game.
-
2 RepliesPLAY THE GAME!!!! That's why your stuck at 355. If you run the heroic strike list you should at least get to 365. I was 352 yesterday and I'm already up to 360. You gotta put the time in man.
-
5 RepliesDo strikes instead of typing paragraphs on the forums.
-
3 RepliesHere's one, it's even got a name. It's called: play the game the way it was intended to be played. It's a bit of a mouthful, but it's a pretty effective farm.

1 ReplySince the most recent patch they really increased the drop rate of the higher level blues. You get 2 each strike boss, the chance at a legendary/exotic and skeleton key. Legendaries and exotics always decrypt at higher than your light level. So there's really no issue with reaching the required raid light level of 365. That and Iron Banner comes out on Tuesday if you're more PVP oriented, and you're supposed to be able to reach 385 with Iron Banner equipment.
-
Last mission in Rise of Iron storyline where you get the flaming axe. Pop 3oC, kill one boss, pop another, kill 2nd boss, then let the 3rd boss kill you. Rinse and repeat.
-
4 RepliesDo 350 strike playlist it's that simple your welcome

Edited by BenjioFM: 10/2/2016 2:30:29 AMthe gjallahorn mission .. just leave the place where you need to protect your ghost and the enemys will spawn for days
-
1 ReplyWhy the fuhk would you tie a rubber band to your controller and leave it over night? Fuhk that
-
3 RepliesRequest unclear. Dick stuck in ceiling fan.
-
6 RepliesDo you not remember the beginning of the Taken King where we would all blow ourselves and the boss for exotics? You can do that on almost every boss
-
5 RepliesI didn't check to see if this was bait but I hope it is.
-
8 RepliesJust farming strikes. I hit 384 the first day of roi without touching the omnigul farm.
-
1 ReplyTie a rubber band on your controller and go pvp. Leave it over night and you should have some legendaries at least
-
Yeah, its called playing the game
-
I know a good way!
Strikes.
-
1 ReplyThis is a -blam!-ing joke right?
-
1 ReplyIf there is, it shouldn't be posted all over the forums. That's a way to ensure a patch happens asap. They need people like us to get stuck chasing the max light carrot so they won't be rushed to put out content.
-
2 RepliesJust drop your controller and stop playing this game, you're wasting your time grind to reach max light.
-
Just run black garden mission. Pop 3oc before each statue comes alive. Go to orbit after 3rd one is down. Rinse and repeat.
-
2 RepliesWhy is everyone here acting like they didn't farm something to increase light? Because if everyone did it the way bungie intended, very few people would be 380+. To be quite honest with you, I don't even know what they intended. Is there even an alternative to level up without farming strikes?
-
3 RepliesI'm not looking for ways to legitimately raise my level the way the developers intended, just to be clear. I am looking to exploit the game and cheat the game. You sir, have no shame. Kinda funny.
-
4 RepliesThere is a place... If you go to the Cosmodrome and go to Skywatch, there's a cave by the giant Hive ship. There's a piece of a column nearby, if you stand on it and shoot the enemies that spawn inside the cave, you'll get a TON of engrams! When you're done, grab all your engrams and go see Master Rahool, he'll give you all the blues for purples you'll ever want!
#Y1LootCave
3 RepliesHeroic strikes....lol pop a booster and 3oC and on your way
-
320 Sepiks Perfected, selected from the directory. Takes like 10 minutes per run. One of the shortest strikes in the game, only 3 encounters. And it's easy as hell because it's 320 not 350 heroic.
