You don't get points for a kill. A crest is worth 2 points. If you kill someone and pick up their crest, you will be awarded 2 points. If you make the kill and an ally picks up their crest, you get 1 point and they get 1 point. However, if you make a kill but the crest is denied, you are awarded no points. Hope this helps!
