Just did Atheon with all 335s...
They didn't know you have to keep the shield up in the middle
They couldn't kill the oracles fast enough
They couldn't clear the supplicants
They didn't know to stay together when shooting oracles
4 out of the 5 didn't know how to use the relic at all
Are there even any vanilla players left?
Edit: yes I did teach them what to do, that's how we beat it eventually. The point of this post was because I was shocked you could be max light level and not know how to do a lvl 30 raid
If anyone wants to do the old raids feel free to add me on Xbox1
EDIT: Since everyone wants to say there's no reason at all to do the old raids, tell me this then. Why do I see so many people complaining about "lack of content" when they are completely ignoring TWO raids?

Day oner here! Played the shit out of year one.. Got reeeeeeeaaaaaly bored in year 2 .., Back playing in the daily basis fo a week now! Realy hyped for year 3! If only they got rid of sbmm....

Beta/year 1 day 1 player here i hear you guys year 1 i remember getting my g horn from the exotic chest now i get an exotic and its like oh another shard not to mwntio mention those players on lfg who ask me how to run relic like come on i cant be the only person like that its good to know there are some beta/day one players

I've done VoG runs in year 2 that have taken longer than they did back in year 1 when no one knew what was going on. So many less year 1 players

I had something like this happen a few months back. Got some people to do vog and it took longer then it did on some runs back when vog was a common thing. I think I was even wearing old raid gear as well. But we kept having to wipe at oracles because people were not paying attention to things and kept getting killed.

It's not about the light level. VOG required experience. Being skilled only took you so far, the difficulty was mainly in the mechanics. Loved that raid!
