make trials randomized matchmaking again
I did not have a problem going 9-0 with the new tougher matchmaking system since I am a day 1 player and have loads and loads of friends to play with... but I hate seeing all these people especially the last weekend who have never gone flawless on all the team finding forums who have at least made it to 7-0 or 8-0 but still have never gone flawless even trying to help some of these people can be a challenelge when you run into the fat pimply bullies with 2k+ elo 2.0 plus kds stacked in a team of 3 you check their trials report they are on some 50 win streak just playing defend the lighthouse it is kind of messed up... you know who you are with your 3-5 letter original gamertags you think you are cooler than everyone but your really wasting your own precious time in life by playing 80 hours of trials every weekend with your sweaty butt buddies just for your own self esteem to stay mainted...Anyways bungie it is not fair for all the helpess people who don't have day 1 fireteams like all these bullies do. You should really make it fair for everyone as bungie is all about fairness.

Lol you do trials? The furthest I've gotten is buying a token and then turning off my xbox because I knew I didn't want to see what happened next. (No I didn't abandon a team I did this right after buying a token alone.)

No one gives a crap about the loot after a month. It's the challenge. I don't say this ever but git gud. Disclaimer- I am not good but have been flawless 5 times with good teamwork communication and a clutch self res back in the day. Edit for spelling. Android autocorrect is booty.

I have mixed feelings. I usually complete a flawless card around 20-30x a weekend. It is usually me and one of two people helping out a virgin or one of our friends who has a hard time. I'm 2000 1.6 overall (2-2.2 most weekends). One of my buddies is better, one worse. The only time we run 9-0 games is if it's the three of us as a stacked team. The reason we do that is because the 9-0 game is the only potentially challenging game when running that strong of a team and the challenge is why we play. Changing it to where you may never have a challenging team is utterly boring and defeats the purpose of end game activity. At the same time I really get when people say how hard they have tried only to be disappointed repeatedly. I see how frustrating it is for people. For those people, though, just find a really strong team to help you. Yes, they may get more kills and it may feel like a "carry", but you are contributing and getting through. On most cards we run, even the players who haven't gotten a kill in four games will come through with a clutch revive or something. That's a lot of rambling. Take home message is trials is fun how it is. Stronger players should help weaker players.

Even though it was the last weekend, and I've only been 3 times, I felt a little bad knocking some lighthouse virgins out on the 9th game while it was a double carry, and I checked their recent games and they had already used mercy :(

35 RepliesWhat I find annoying about trials, and especially when posts like these show up, is that its those who benefit from the matchmaking that defend it. You get all this shit about "not everyone is meant to go" and "lighthouse is for the best durr!" Etc etc blah blah. Its all bullshit. They just want to keep getting matched with weaker teams for easy rides. There's no competition unless teams play equally skilled opponents. To get to the lighthouse you shouldn't have to be the best Destiny players, just the best of your skill level. And that would give everyone a greater sense of achievement. Like others have said, everyone paid the same for this game, AND NOBODY BOUGHT THIS GAME KNOWING THEY WOULD HAVE TO BE ELITE TO EXPERIENCE THE WHOLE GAME.

I agree. There are just way to many sweaty punks that try way to hard to win and not let others enjoy the game. Matchmaking would be great in my personal opinion.

Now it's easy only for laggers and players with the "perfect Bungie connection" (they see you at least 0.5 second earlier on theur screens) They are the only ones that go to The Lighthouse, easily.

1 ReplyI love this game. I even enjoy playing PVP. I absolutely suck at Trials. I don't even bother asking for help because I wouldn't want to put another human through that pain and suffering. I play trials to counteract the pimply sweats. To be killed without knowing where the shot came from. To rejoice when I trade a kill and watch the two color orbs sit next to each other . . . A great success for me. The lighthouse is a bright place I will never see and I'm ok with it. BornDocFrost is here to be defeated for your trip. "Go on with out me guardians" See you all when ROI drops. You will notice me through your sniper scope not paying attention.
