I did not have a problem going 9-0 with the new tougher matchmaking system since I am a day 1 player and have loads and loads of friends to play with... but I hate seeing all these people especially the last weekend who have never gone flawless on all the team finding forums who have at least made it to 7-0 or 8-0 but still have never gone flawless even trying to help some of these people can be a challenelge when you run into the fat pimply bullies with 2k+ elo 2.0 plus kds stacked in a team of 3 you check their trials report they are on some 50 win streak just playing defend the lighthouse it is kind of messed up... you know who you are with your 3-5 letter original gamertags you think you are cooler than everyone but your really wasting your own precious time in life by playing 80 hours of trials every weekend with your sweaty butt buddies just for your own self esteem to stay mainted...Anyways bungie it is not fair for all the helpess people who don't have day 1 fireteams like all these bullies do. You should really make it fair for everyone as bungie is all about fairness.

Year 1 trials was fun to do but now it's your A game from the get go.

I'll never enjoy trials, I know I'm not good enough at pvp to ever aid in an effort to go flawless. There are many outlets in destiny that are rewarding, and PVE is one such outlet. Basically, all of the rewards in trials are pvp guns, and not very good ones at that if we're being honest. The gear is very beneficial and kind of cool looking, but to me they wear that as a symbol of their accomplishments anyway, I can get max disp. Str. And int. Just as easily from raid gear and wear that like I did something cool as well. For casuals there is iron banner, for elitists and those that want to hop on their backs there's trials, for those that aren't very good at either just start out in the regular crucible playlist and keep trying different things, get better guns, experiment with different sensitivities and play styles. We can't keep fighting about trials, everyone is capable of being as good as anybody if they put the time and effort in.

100% agree

I am a plub ill admit it, and i agree that the lighthouse should be exclusive for those who work hard to out play their opponents. I went once and it was a great feeling. They made it easier for plubs with the addition of boons. They dont need to make any more addition imo. You get your participation award from the bounties that need no skill to complete.

1 ReplyThis game should be about fun! Want to see something that's not fun? Camping 10 hours to get something done that could be done in 1 hour while having fun. Also - camping does not take skill and you don't have to be a general to figure this "tactic" out. If you want to sweat play ESO's maelstrom arena

1 Reply^this is the result of perticipation medals being given to kids. They start to think that they deserve rewards for no effort, or to a worse effect deserve one in losing. The kids need to grow and learn to deal with losing

25 RepliesThis could easily be fixed by blocking Trials Access once a gamer's character goes to the light house that week. (This would still allow 3 different lighthouse runs if the gamer has one of each character type...ie Titan, Hunter, Warlock). It would also limit the number of people getting "carried" that week by a god-like gamer.

2 RepliesJeez, this really is the "I Participated!" Generation
-
11 RepliesI think to go to the lighthouse you should just have to win 7 matches in one weekend and not count any of the losses so that way everyone can get to the lighthouse
-
Other than end game light level gear, which is obtainable in Pve. The lighthouse doesn't have any gear that has benefits over other gear, it's okay at best. Flawless should be reserved for flawless. Come to think of it you can get the gear from five and seven wins so really, other than a emblem that signifies fricken flawless, what is there to complain about? Nothing. Suck it up, currently the matchmaking is fine. I have around thirty flawless runs plus others where I used no booms because I was sherpaing people to the lighthouse with a friend, it's a rough road to get there, and it's not even really worth it. However it IS considered flawless for a reason. If you can't beat the best that you face then you didn't earn it. Quit trying to make it easier, this is the one activity in Destiny currently that is obtained through skill and perseverance. Let's keep it that way guardians, gl and hf.

This is stupid, not everyone should get a trophy. Just like how we don't give any high school football teams a trophy because the Denver Broncos are better.

I'm one of those sweats and I spent the last 2 weekends taking previously lighthouse virgins flawless. My friends did it too. We're not all bad

I love trials as it is now.its intense af. And when u go flawless it makes it that much sweeter.
-
8 RepliesIt's a competitive mode.. if you think of it, it's like brackets. The worst team in the league shouldn't automatically go to the Superbowl to play against the best, should they?

7 RepliesWalk of text scum

I think the trials is just fine how it is now
-
3 RepliesBungie also did say Lighthouse is a extra feature for people who can get there. If you can't get there, then you can't get there. You can still play trials but you just have to work a bit harder to get lighthouse. Stop trying to bitch and moan your way into an extra feature you have to work for. Also if you are still really salty, I will wait till Monday to get my flawless so I can crush as many people who support this dumb idea and then be "banned" out of trials for the whole week :)
-
I think that would be a good change... Because year one trials was still a challenge and the lighthouse was somewhat exclusive but the skill level required was dropped a little bit.
-
I don't understand why it doesn't work in tiers or something.. Like make the bottom half of tier 1 face the top half of tier 1 if someone starts playing out of their tier consistently bump them up or down a tier. This seems a lot more fair and could be the stepping stones for people to improve at the game. You don't learn anything when you have a negative kd and you continue to go up against teams of 3s with even a 1.2kd who have hours upon hours of playtime together.

Day 1 firearms help you in Trials?
-
Good luck the only people you will get are the trash rat snot nose flawless junkies who will give you shit because they have nothing better to do.
-
1 ReplyJust no. It's supposed to be difficult to get to the lighthouse. That's the point of it. It feels awesome when you do get there.

Those people are everything Bungie claim to dislike, yet they have done nothing to promote a healthy fair competition with Trials. All they have done is create a breading ground for those who are happy keep other players down and make money out of it on the back of Bungie!
