I like to use the sunberaker a lot, but I have notice that a direct impact from a hammer wont kill a arc blade.
So is that really a thing or am I just imagining/ getting unlucky?
( If it so it means that a sunberaker and a blade dancer facing of in supers, would mean that the blade dancer would win most of the time. Even if the hamer hits the blade dancer while it is coming closer, the blade will hit you twice, faster than you can throw a second hammer.
It's been the way that if the hamer missed then blade would kill it and if the hammer would hit, it would kill the baled. And i think everyone knows that it's not that easy to hit a blinking blade dancer :D)

A sunbreaker hammer will kill an arcblader in one hit. Love -An Arcblader

2 RepliesThe hit detection of hammers is mediocre at best. I've had guardians not in super survive direct hits. Hell, I had a warlock survive two in trials one time.

Of course not, Bungo Bungie Nerfed Titans into the ground!

Probably depends on armor. I've never survived a hammer while in arcblade.

6 RepliesA direct slash from a bladedancer doesn't OHK a sunbreaker. They seem balanced.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
1 ReplySuncharge is a 1 hit kill on bladedancers, so you might want to give it a try

2 RepliesHammer has the advantage of having greater distance kill, though never a guaranteed hit. Either the damage is inconsistent or there's some lag involved. I've experienced the same thing, one hammer has killed a blade dancer and one hammer has not killed it. Maybe the one that did die took damage from someone else prior to the hammer hit. There's a lot of possibilities. Personally I think all supers should be a one hit kill on all supers. Providing you hit the target.
