Sign if you think Bungie should return Hand Cannons to pre - TTK and remove the bloom mechanic.
Edit: We're trending :) Hopefully Bungie sees this and does something about it in the next weapon balance patch.
Edit 2: Some people had some great ideas on how to fix HCs so I think Bungie should really take a look at those.
Edit 3: I think people are reading a little too much into this, the reason I want bloom to go is to remove phantom bullets. It makes no sense that a shot where the reticle is right over the opponent's head should miss.
Edit 4: I think people misunderstood what I meant by Pre - TTK. I, by all means, do not want the HoW meta to come back. I just want HCs to hit shots they're supposed to if your aim is on target. I think having damage falloff is perfect but bloom has to go. People shouldn't have to have a god rolled HC just to make sure their shots hit their targets.
Edit 5: Well I did not expect this to spark as much discussion as it did. Although many of you make good points, I still think you're missing the key point of this post. Bloom causes shots to miss that should hit. Just forget about everything and balance and all that and just think about what you would have said if bloom was on Scout Rifles or Pulse Rifles. Would you want your shots/bursts to disappear into thin air when you were sure your reticle was on your opponent's head? Absolutely not.
Final Edit: Bungie I think this post more than proves what the community wants, now it's on you to deliver.

Here's the link to the TripleWreck video on phantom bullets.
DeeJ just put out a tweet saying that they would discuss phantom bullets later, saying that the Bungie weekly update was written earlier that day so they weren't able to include that. I think we did it everyone, we actually got Bungie's attention great job!

This should be to remove bloom from the entire game, not just hand cannons. Signed regardless.

1 Replylet's remove all bloom from all weapons not just handcannons.
-
5 RepliesThis is triplewreks video showing the bloom effect on hand cannons and how piss poor it is
-
22 RepliesI think bloom is great, honestly. Makes it more life like.
-
I've never noticed the bloom in hand cannons and I spam the trigger.

11 RepliesEdited by SamuraiSloth_: 9/9/2016 3:49:38 PMSo make the quickest TTK weapons easier to use? Not too mention that's just taking at Gaurdian full health. Imagine 2 Gaurdians on half health. Suddenly hand canons have a huge advantage over other primaries. The bloom is to even things out a bit.

Would be all the more incentive for hand cannon lovers in legacy consoles to upgrade.

Do it

1 ReplyThe Devs literally stated that they wanted the weapons to be consistent every time you used it. Ghost bullets and bloom seem to be a direct contradiction to that statement. Sometimes actions speak louder than words. It would be really interesting to see if all these inconsistencies remain constant through several matches.

4 RepliesBloom isn't just on handcannons. It's on other weapons as well. I cannot tell you how many times I should have killed someone, only to have my weapon generate ghost bullet(s) like the video. It's in effect for pulse rifles and shotguns (seen in video) too. Bloom should be removed period. Until they do Destiny is, and should only be considered a casual PvP shooter.

2 RepliesRemove bloom? Really? I'm okay with it but isn't this just going to bring us all the way back to my favorite era? TLW/Thorn/Hawkmoon ?
-
Signed hand cannons are trash in Pve and pvp no range mixed with ghost shots= useless.
-
Signed. Bullets should go where you aim them. #GetRidOfGhostBullets.
-
5 RepliesNo. The primary game is so close to balanced and hand cannons are at a very good place. The only thing we need are for slow rate of fire pulses and autos to get minor buffs so they match time to kill times and we are golden.
-
That video is about as clear cut as it gets that there is a glaring issue with hand cannons right now.....
