The new Patrol.
The reason why it will be the best part: New area of exploration that is open to up to 16 guardians at one time. You will see people working together to find new things and taking down new foes. Just an overall great atmosphere which will remind you why you enjoy online gaming.
The reason why it will be the worst part: New area of exploration that is open to up to 16 guardians at one time. You will see people fighting over red bar dregs for bounties, blocking spawn caves to piss people off, and just an overall poor atmosphere which will remind you why you don't enjoy online gaming.
Look Forward to it. Whats your Opinion?
Edit: Now that I'm thinking about it.... 50 light levels isn't that much of an increase compared to what we had to do from HoW to TTK. How quickly will we get tired of this content?

5 RepliesThe worst part of RoI is most certainly the fact the taken still feature
-
5 RepliesBest part - New weapons and armour Worst part - Players still whining about their old gear being outdated by the new gear and having to get new gear to remain competitive.
-
2 RepliesI feel like there will be regular updates for rise of iron. 400 light is not enough, it will not last till destiny 2 so I almost expect some sort of update regularly to keep it fresh. If not then bungie will be expecting to lose a lot of customers between Rise of Iron and Destiny 2

1 ReplyBest:new stuff to do Worst:the forum.....nerf this nerf that is soooo op etc... Lol
-
1 ReplyThe best : the entire expansion The worst : the forums after the crucible balance

2 RepliesEdited by tguy4001: 9/9/2016 4:07:29 AMWhile I agree with OP about the TTK part, I decided to make a chart of how many list levels increased per era(year 2 style). Vanilla to TDB: 10 light levels TDB to HoW: 10 light levels HoW to TTK: 6 regular levels and 160 light levels TTK to April update(adding this cuz light level increase): 15 light levels

4 RepliesEdited by crazeeavery: 9/7/2016 3:23:28 PMI'm going to take my time just like I've done the entire time. Lol my max level is 334. Really what's max level for? Nothing in this game really requires you to be at max level, except bragging rights. I'm going to take my time have fun and if I get to max cool, if not, no big deal.

6 RepliesEdited by VitaI: 9/8/2016 12:15:11 AMThe best: new light levels The worst: if they made it as easy as it was to rank up to 335, I will be really disappointed. 335 was simple. Faction armor, court of oryx and strikes got me to 330 before I did a raid. (Wanted to see rank ups from a non raid perspective). Then two raids later and I was 335. Way too easy

Worst-cries for nerfs 2 minutes after release. Best-drinking salty tears.
-
23 RepliesThe best: everything at the start The worst: once sweaty nerds have a chance to just walk around in pvp maps with their sweaty friends and develop sweaty strategies "Ok (sluuurp) me and pindick will be here with our Midas setting up a crossfire situation (cough, sluuurp) and pimple face will be waiting by that corner with universal remote to clean up the scraps!!" (High pitched laughter, sluuurp) " this is gonna be great!!! (Coughx3 followed by the sound of 3 inhalers going off)"

4 RepliesI already don't like competing for bounties... and I will block spawns if I got there first.. I don't give a flying -blam!-... get out of my spawn... I wish I could select public patrols and solo/fireteam patrols.
-
Best - trying to solo the raid boss Worst - trying to solo the raid boss
-
The best: At least 2 weeks worth of new content! The worst: Recycled weapons & armor, ugly raid gear, nerfed gjally, and a potpourri mix of nerfs to everything. And don't forget another screwed up version of leveling up. And the same ole patrol missions. Plus much more of the same clips of ships flying to the tower, flying to mars,....... Plus the never ending commutes between postmaster and cryptarch. It's going to be interesting to see if its more of the same or something that will bring players back.

8 RepliesEdited by CallMeCaira: 9/8/2016 1:43:37 AMWorst part is going to be all the people who weren't listening to Bungie talk about the new quest to get gjallarhorn complaining on the forums about how they shouldn't have to earn it again. Then we'll probably go through all that earning/xurning bull again.
-
The worst part is knowing that after this it's just live events...and so far the live events haven't been anything too spectacular.
-
It's going to be increased to 400 when hard mode drops and it will still take you a while. Plus with the transition from HoW to TTK totally rehashed the light system
-
The max light level will be 400 after hard mode of the raid comes out.
-
5 RepliesI wish you could go into patrol privately.
-
4 RepliesAbout your 50 light levels... That depends. From 320 to 335, with all the new ways to get to the max light, people STILL haven't got to it yet. Reasons unknown. Maybe Bungie will do the same? We advance 20-30 levels easily, and the rest is gained through endgame means. Either way, it still could've still been better if it was higher, but i don't think it will be that bad.

Best: new stuff to grind for Worst: grinding AGAIN Which is why the game has such a love/hate following. It often makes you feel like an addict, in a negative way. And in the long run, most of it doesn't matter even in-game. You can very rapidly catch up to a day one dedicated player as far as functional gear and level, you will just be missing collector stuff.

The dread naught was brilliant when Ttk dropped, admittedly it got old quick but it was fun for a short time. It's going to be the same I think a week down the line and it'll just be another area. I don't know what they plan to do as for activities while exploring though.
-
Best: Next-gen consoles only Bad: Legacy consoles
-
7 RepliesEdited by CaptMark: 9/7/2016 8:14:52 PMBest part is the experience seeing new scenery, worst part is finishing those 5 story missions fast. Needs more story missions!

Crucible. Laggy Crucible.

14 RepliesAbout 6 months ago I had the bounty to kill 10 hive majors. I load in cosmodrome and head down to the farm spot and there is a guardian there already. I sit back and he kills the three hive then sits down at the spawn room. I wait a min then message "What are you doing?" Him: "Go away noob these are my kills." Me: "I'm the noob? Really? You don't know that to get pve kills in patrol you just have to be nearby? Let them Spawn and I'll sit back and watch you kill them. I'll get credit." Him: "Look noob I'm 320 light with non raid armor. You obviously haven't played enough to have max light on non raid armor. I got more experience than you. Get a clue." Not looking forward to this type of asshat who thinks he knows it all but is really clueless.

Edited by SamSu916: 9/7/2016 8:47:54 PMThey should just make it like this. You know how in prison of elders if you sit out behind the door, it'll warp you momentarily if you decide not to move out from there? Instead for the patrol, if you sit on the spawn point for like 10~15 seconds after the enemies are suppose to respawn, it'll warp you out into a random or designated area and then spawns the mobs after it warps you out of there respawn point. If they choose to be a dick and try to pull something like leave the spawn area and re-enter to keep it blocked, the spawn will just simply spawn the moment the asshole walks out of the spawn area.
