Go onto LFG. Post that you want to raid. You don't require anyone with experience. No mic needed. No light level requirement. No particular weapon needed.
See how it goes. That would be a matchmade raid.

Not if you can make requirements within the matchmaking. Much like the custom pvp games coming out. This is not a new concept. If you're host to a raid, set up your requirements, just like you would a private match.

If you could do all that, set it so you get people with certain amount of raid completions to be able to join, must be a certain light, must have certain gear, must have a mic and the option to boot, then yes, I would love that to get implemented. However with matchmaking as we currently have it we have absolutely none of those options.

I think a lot of people don't understand the full potential of matchmaking and are afraid of it. It's incredibly evident in this post and is COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE. I honestly believe that when it happens, people will soon realize that the game is not broken and in fact their gameing lives haven't changed one bit. I imagine it will be a lot like when one day, let's say my grand child will ask me, "Grandpa, why was marijuana ever illegal? It's not as dangerous as alcohol, and has legitimate medicinal value." To which I will respond, "I honestly don't know. But surprisingly, a lot of people fought it."
