Seriously. And I've probably made who knows how many posts about this, and so have others, but year 1 Trials was so much more fun. Sure sometimes you might have a bad game and get absolutely rekt, but sometimes you could breeze through. Now with the round/win based matchmaking, every single game is super sweaty and filled with the worst human beings in the universe.
I can play Destiny for a month and love it, but one passage of Trials and I want to throw my PS4 in the yard and burn it.

Trials is meant to be a very competitive playlist, not a casual playlist like clash. If you want to succeed, you better be able to work for it

Need 1 for Trials run. Msg me on PS4. GT: PrimeraEspada_01

My Xbox 360 suffered the fate of ToO I won't Let my ps4 go through the same experience. #savetheconsoles.

5 RepliesPs4:: Can 2 people carry me to lighthouse? Ps4 name : ThatMidget607 Please I really need to go flawless before all my friends
-
I agree. I found year one trials still challenging but now it's become ridiculously competitive. The problem is now everyone is hyper concerned with kd ratio, Elo, and if you've gone flawless that playing trials is generally an obnoxious experience.
-
When the very best players started using trials as a cash cow for carrying people ot quit becoming a game and a competition on who can beat the very best players so you can reach flawless. Not to mention they go flawless upwards of 20+ times a weekend because they get paid per carry is the problem.

Isee...another rpm guy or kid again.

58 RepliesEdited by BearShare02: 8/27/2016 10:52:46 PM*Edit* I appreciate all the support and people wanting to get better. I'm not the best, I'm not great, I'm not even always good, I'm decent. I do try and trials and I'm very competitive. That's why I try to help others so we can win. There's always room to get better and you can, if you put forth the effort. I currently have a 1.6 trials kd and 2,000 elo. Does that matter though? No.. I've lost to 1400 elo players with good ane bad kds and beaten the top 2 trials players. Don't judge everything off elo and kd, it's more of a general idea. Good luck guardians. You have a 1.1 x2 & .9 kd in regular crucible. There is no end goal in standard crucible though. You could literally be that guy who sits in the back trying to get clean ups and picks. You have a .7 .8 & .9 kd in trials across 3 players however. You're a below avg player in a more competitive atmosphere. Not saying you suck, but you're gonna struggle.. I have the assumption that you lose many 1v1s and/or don't outsmart your opponent. There is always room for improvement. You can get better with a few things like. -Not hardscoping so much, using your primary more, not going to the same spot, continuously moving, etc etc. Take it as you want, I do a lot of trials carries. I help a lot of people with kd skill level such as yourself and see the flaws in people's gameplay. I don't get angry, yell, lose composure if they're doing bad. I give them tips and offer the best advice I can.

2 RepliesEdited by Hemphlev: 8/27/2016 11:51:45 PMGood thing we raised over half a million dollars (1/10th of Activision's budget for destiny, BTW) towards fighting cancer last week! Lighthouse Wing confirmed for St Judes

19 RepliesI fully support the year 2 system over the year 1 system. Less casuals winning a gamemode designed to be won only be the PvP elite. That being said, if you truly believe Trials is cancer, than maybe should should start up an organization that people can donate to. #ForTheFilthyCasuals #TitanMasterRace
Trials = cancer
Fixed that for you.

1 ReplyWell on the bright side look how much money the streamers raised for cancer
-
1 ReplyThey just need better maps. Pantheon for example has no mid range battles except for a few occasions. After not playing trials for months and months I was excited to go back in and try tlaloc or mida but soon found myself just having to use the same old Last word and sniper. battles are either sniping or so close you need shotty or last word, no inbetween This is why bannerfall is the best trials map by far. Every gun is very much viable

8 RepliesI got a message after a match yesterday telling me to go stick my d*ck in a exhaust pipe and burn my d*ck off. When I replied "Gg's to you too" I got a four paragraph message about how I'm a 40 year old Virgin that lives in my mother's basement and I should go kill myself.....
-
This game is toxic!
-
It's a medium range effort/success ratio that I find enjoyable (similar to y1). The problem is people try ridiculously hard y2 to the point one tiny mistake can not only ruin a game but an entire passage for you and your team, to me that is not fun.
-
1 ReplyI never played trials year one but from what I've heard from friends the thorn ran rampant and that sounds like more cancer to me than year 2. Which I've played alot of trials year 2
-
10 RepliesAbout 2 months ago I tried to go Flawless and noticed how rigorous it was to even win a match. I did some research and found out there are people that are running trials 30 and 40 times a weekend and charging $30 or more a run. Why does Bungie allow this to continue? "Cancer" is a legitimate description of what trials has become. Even though I'm an average player, there's no way I'm getting carried or paying someone to help me play this game. All in all, trials is broken...
-
It's supposed to be top tier players playing it. It's the game mode set up for the elite players. Stop trying to make them change it for casuals. This game was better when everything was harder and geared toward the everyday players. It was much better in year one except trials. Leave it how it is. Practice, get your KD up, get a squad who is decent and try. It's great how it is. Difficult like it should be
-
I don't compete in it for that reason. Too stressful.
-
2 RepliesEdited by Naharke31: 8/27/2016 11:51:35 PMIdk why people hate caries. I mean if the person is doing something for the team then it's not a carry. if it is, then you just lost a 2v3 so.
-
Trials is not even worth the stress, play for fun. Seriously crucible in general is dreadful. To many stat farming players and scrubs being carried.
-
Played trials for the first time today. What a -blam!-ing joke. Nothing but hardscopers. For the first time since I started playing destiny, I absolutely hated it. That being said, I tried it and I don't have to play it to enjoy the rest of the game. I also got a pretty beastly Water Star from a bounty.
