I've noticed the sudden decline in classy players recently. I used to be able to wave and now that the enemy would wave back and not take advantage of my wave! Now they kill you and proceed to taunt! HOW DISHONORABLE!!! I used to be able to dance a jolly dance with my fellow guardians in the tower or Stand and crouch rapidly with them if I were feeling uncharacteristically excited! Now everyone there is strictly there for business. There is no sense of comradeship...comradeship?......Anyway were are lacking in that department!!! THE FLAME OF NOBILITY AMONG GUARDIANS IS DYING!!! WE MUST REIGNITE IT!!!
Edit: Comradeship is a word right? I mean google would lie to me...would it?
Edit: Camaraderie was the word I was looking for. Thanks friends!

Edited by echojaxx: 9/1/2016 12:54:12 AMYou know the boom box in the tower? I have a clip of me going down there because I was bored, lord behold there was a fireteam of 2 Titans and 2 hunters jamming out and dancing to the music. I ended up joining the party, and we partied for 15 minutes.
sad thing is, I had more fun than I would have in a crucible match...
1 ReplyEdited by Adaptability: 8/28/2016 4:04:56 PMThere is no honor and I have accepted that. People will be people. If you wave to me I will wave back if I know I won't die to someone else. If you tbag me and you lose i will tbag you back. I won't be the better person. I try to be nice to everyone I meet and if they treat me like trash I won't stand for it.

They all probably left to a game where they can prosper..... Dark Souls.
-
The classy players never left because...
They were never here.
-
They left with all the good class items from year one. :/
-
I still screw around in the tower. I need to stay lighthearted. If you take the game too seriously it stops being fun.

2 RepliesLately I've been constantly trying to get a team of six to wave back. Not even at the same time. Just each of them have to wave at me at least once in the match. I've been trying for a month now still no luck... It's just Destiny is a sweaty game now. When people see you wave they take it as a chance to shove a shotgun shell down your throat and teabag you until respawn (which can take a long time but that's another point) All I'm saying is, I remember year 1. Where Guardians were trying to get good loot and make friends to grind with. People would dance with me then I'd hit them with an invite and we'd do VOG. Someday we'll get a sensible community back but until then...

The kids are off school here in the UK, so loads of kids running around teabagging everything. Still, bless them.
-
We are around we just hide under the radar we don't want to get ninjaed or nerfed
-
1 ReplyMeh all that buddy buddy bullshit gets old quick. What's with kids nowadays wanting all this friendship crap
-
2 RepliesI'm still a classy player,I'm not that mean to people...ok maybe a little but that's because in out for revenge 😝
-
1 ReplyDefenders have gotten much more aggressive as I used to be able to emote at him and he would return the favor but now when I sit down they go straight for the ez snipe. What happened to you guys you used to be so cool and chill.
-
I'm still here dude. Classy to the max. I'm so classy that Cassius Clay wanted to change his name to classius clay.

4 RepliesI've got a clip of me and two buddies running elimination, ran into a group 1 afk the other left at the start of round one and the afk teammate kicked at beginning of round 2, so I messaged the other player and we danced on the box in pantheon and let him cap the zone till he hit 5.

There never were any

I don't know about the rest of the titans but in pvp and at the end of strikes I formally bow to display my respect and acknowledgement of my ally's and opponent's skill. I usually never taunt except I cases where they started it first and were being childish, then I give them a small taste of their own medicine.
-
8 RepliesI agree I can't even dance without being shot in pvp. LET ME DANCE IN PEACE!
-
4 RepliesI know how you feel. I once saw some guardians in The Tower. I used my dance emote and in the next two minutes the head of the fire team sent me a message that read;
F*** off
You obviously know he has personal issues.
-
7 RepliesWas playing 6vs6 with a full team, got matched vs another team, map was pantheon I push up and there's no one on the map...the entire enemy team is up by thier spawn, I run up waving and they all come down and start dancing, we went to the middle cube and all just danced there.
I was a voidwalker with max intellect...I am sorry

Nova'd twice, breaker and slayer medals....I recorded them, gives me a laugh each time
The quality of most competitive games playerbases tends to decay over time

1 ReplyStill here good sir. Just taking a hiatus. Personally, life took my group and I away all at once (fathering children, building houses, school, etc...) I had about 10 people I game with who are the kind of guardians you describe. Teachers, sherpas... We are fantastic at this game And... Like to help others in it! We are ALL coming back for ROI. Get your friendly emotes ready!
-
I ended up getting a group of five Guardians in halloween mask to follow random people around the tower. We ended up just dancing in front of Cryptarch for awhile. Good times were had.
-
4 RepliesSo what you get killed at the end or during a match while you are dancing. Grow up we are Guardians no princesses you don't need to bow to each other when we she each in combat, we are warriors if you see someone dancing in Crucible or Iron Banner it's just dumb you are in a war zone not a ballroom don't complain about getting shot because you decided to have a little dance during combat. If you really want to show a warrior some "class" even though thats the wrong word fight him or her in combat while in the crucible don't ask them to dance with you like this is prom. And if you really want to know what is un-classy, is thinking and more importantly acting like you are somehow better than other players because you dance in crucible and at the tower.
-
2 RepliesI agree with you, there does seem to be a lack of classy players... however, that being said, I'd like to consider myself one. I shoot people a friendly "gg" after a game if they wrecked me, I can admit when someone is better than me (which they usually are lets be real) if someone is left on a team alone, I'll go dance with them or sit by them, because they're not going to win on their own I dance and mess around with people at the tower, and I love to get big groups going just for fun. I wish there were more people who didn't take the game so seriously... it's a lot more fun when you're friendly with the other players, whether on your team or not

1 ReplyNever tea bagged another gaurdian ever..no one has time for that childish shit. Had a guy snipe me twice from the same spot and ran up and teabagged me til i realised where he was so when i revived that 3rd time i ran around the edge of the map with only him in mind on that go and popped him in the head ..he quit after that lol. And more satisfying than a tea bagging
