Titan shoulder charge
No other sub class has a one hit kill that can be use over and over

Shoulder charge isn't OHK, certain equipment plus max armor and you live through it. Killed a lot of confused Titans this past IB when SC didn't kill me

1 ReplyIm with u. That whole class has too many OP traits. Lightning grenades bs range, shoulder charge being exploited and bs tracking, and FoH needs a range nerf as well. Class is broken since day 1. Waiting for them to catch a nerf like sunsingers have been getting.

Shoulder charge is annoying but I wouldn't say it's op. At times it is over used but I don't think it needs a nerf. I kill Titans shoulder charging just as much as I get killed by them so we're even. When I run the striker subclass I barely ever use shoulder charge because it gets me killed. Shotguns and sticky grenades are my worst enemies.

If a head shot with a throwing knife with burn killing a low armored guardian is op then a one hit kill melee with no cool down and amazing tracking is op.

The fact it's a ohk isn't the issue. I found too many titans sprinting into to walls charging SC this iron banner(friendlies and foes). Now that's an exploit, SC is meant to be activated by building a head of steam not running into a wall.

36 Replies*Sigh I will post this until the day I die... Shoulder charge is a high risk/high reward ability. There are many counters and it puts the striker in a very awkward and risky situation. Starting with the activation, a titan must keep sprinting meaning he can't shoot or throw grenades at anybody and he's got no extra armor leaving him completely vulnerable to you. Then during the animation the same stuff as said before happens. Now if he misses this means he's in a very bad situation but a good one for you. You will be able to easily take down a titan that misses his shoulder charge because he will have expected you to die and he will be stunned to see you alive. The best way to get them to use it and miss is to either back up, run away, or jump at the last second. The clean up the titan. Now for the counters. As stated before a titan attempting a shoulder charge is very vulnerable as he can't shoot, throw a grenade, and he doesn't have extra armor. This means you can use any method to take him down. Here are the main counters, primary weapon fire, shotgun, sniper spam or headshot, grenade, weaken then melee, heavy ammo if you have any, super, team shot, back up, run away, or dodge at the last second. Those are he basics to countering shoulder charge. Shoulder charge is actually one of the easiest abilities to counter. You can do all of those things and here's the key, pay attention. Striker aren't invisible on your radar. If they are coming in you can see the huge red blob on your radar or the enemy running straight at you. Also no one said you had to stay standing there, you can run as I said before. Now if you get shoulder charged because you were focused on another enemy and you couldn't pay attention and counter it, well here's the thing, you would've died to that enemy anyways. He would have killed you with a grenade, melee, special, primary, or super. The point is you would be dead anyways.

I've said it before and I'll say it again that if you're getting wrecked by a shoulder charger that's a 'you' thing. And I'll guess a 0.80 KD on a hunter :) Edit: 0.82 KD. Basically, I'm calling that a win. Hiding your profile doesn't help. Just a little bit of helpful advice: It's not the game, the guns or shoulder charge. It's you. You're simply not great at PvP and that's fine. You're blaming the game instead of blaming your own bad play. You won't ever get better if you keep thinking that it's everyone's fault but yours. You are in control in the crucible. Thinking that titans are somehow to blame is not helping you. I was shoulder charged MAYBE 10 times this entire Iron Banner having reached rank 5 on all characters. Stop blaming and start trying to get better. There are a ton of resources at your disposal. You need only look for them.

2 RepliesEquip anything besides a sniper and you'll be able to kill them. Or be like everyone else and use last word, kills in 3 bullets, 2 in the head 1 to the body and they're down, time to fire the 3 bullets is about .8 seconds, assuming you don't miss all your shots you should down them easily. Hope this helps.
