It seems the only thing people say is "I paid the same amount for the game!" First of all, you paid the same amount for the LICENSE to the game. Second of all, SONY, as in THE COMPANY, NOT THE PLAYERS, paid Bungie/Activision more. You are NOT getting ripped off, as YOU WERE NEVER PROMISED THESE EXCLUSIVES. The exclusives AREN'T EVEN GOOD!

The answer is simple buy the better console .... Lol just kidding but seriously you Xbox users should be used to this with destiny about now, the PlayStation will always have the exclusive gear, Sony saw the potential of the game and paid up, am sure Microsoft had the chance, mebby you should be pointing your anger at microsoft for not coughing up on your behalf ? Or even pay some money to buy Sony out there deal !

5 RepliesLet's be honest, exclusives in destiny are crap little trinkets so it doesn't matter. However exclusives in general are an abomination, a month timed exclusive I say is fine but anymore it's just not right, however Microsoft started the exclusive battle with chucking money around during the 360 era, things like unchartered and halo are made by Sony/Microsoft funded studios so this I can also understand from an exclusive standpoint. All in all destiny as far as exclusive content goes really isn't great

1 ReplyAt least Xbox users will eventually get the exclusive weapons and strikes Fifa players who play on the Xbox have exclusive access to Legends (soccer players who are literally legends, like Pele). Playstation users have never had the chance to own or use a Legend while they play Fifa but they are not complaining about it.

2 RepliesAgreed , I think it came down to some contract agreement with Sony because destiny 2 was delayed , and that they retain the rights to the exclusives . The new edge article confirms ROI was just a stopgap for D2 , so probably contractual crap

Business decisions are brutal by nature, since they think in terms of dollars and cents, red and black. If you think you've been shafted, no one is forcing you to buy Rise of Iron.

Almost every game does this now....but not for a year or two. Usually 1-6 months Skyrim had the dlc's first on Xbox not ps4? Correct?

I'm happy they are greedy. I bought some activision stock about 4 years ago for $11 a share, now it's at around $40 per share! Keep it up activision!
