I was in yer shoes a few days ago, my vault was started to get filled to the brim, everyday I'd slither my way through the mounds and pillars of weapons just to add more height to a stack in the far back. It dawned on me one solitary night though "when am I going to use these eight different weylorans marches? What about the three eyaslunas or those split shifter pros or all this spektar armor?" Never, that's when. So a long conversation was had with myself in front of the vault, people stared, the crypt arch gave awkward looks and I think the postmaster was checkin out my butt a little but hey. That's besides the point. After a good while of thinking, I started tearing down these mounds and scrapping them for marks and parts, the whole process took me what felt like days but was probably five minutes, and in the end, I felt torn inside, all those weapons, gone. The armors, gone. And what was I left with? 156 legendary marks and over 100+ armor/weapon parts? The feeling of having sold out was pressing heavy on my shoulders, I..betrayed myself as a looter, the next hour was spent not knowing who I even was. I just wandered the tower aimlessly until I found myself in the torre Notre. It was there that I was left with a decision as an impending fall stared me square in the face from the railing I was leaning on. "Do I continue with this new self? Do I accept that I've deleted everything I've worked ever so hard for? All those crucible matches? The blood I've spilled and lost all earned these needless items and in the end I'm left with a couple of marks? I've sold out." The decision couldn't be more obvious as I started to mount the railing, although maybe it was fate to be there because from my height I could see hideo holding what looked like a a package. So I figured "hey, yer gonna jump anyway, check it out" and that's what happened, it was odd at first, being an fwc fanboy speaking to the new monarchy, the executor was an interesting character with his fuzzy hat. But I wasn't focused on him, I let him ramble on as the package was my real goal. After a good hour the executor asked what troubled the exo standing before him, so the spiel was told despite not fully trusting the fuzzy hat man. He chuckled, I questioned but he never answered. Rather he simply opened the package and told me he had something just for me. A shotgun, rangfinder, rifle barreled with final round and a decent rate of fire. He said I could have it, for 150 marks. I was skeptical at first but after a while I decided to take it, I've scrapped over thirty weapons, what's one measily shotgun gonna change? And that's how I purchased a shotgun.

Bungie logic: let's make a shoot and loot game, encourage players to keep different 'sets' from Iron Banner y1, Iron Banner y2, Trials, 3 raids, spektar, sublime, desolate and SRL Then we encourage them in our posts to 'collect them all' by saying they will only be available for a limited time! Finally, we will make our players miserable by making it actually impossible to keep them all. Muhahhahahhah Signed.

Why do you people need so much vault space? You're never going to use it all, and most of it you'll never use ever again. Do you sit at your vault just looking at old items collect dust? I can understand keeping raid gear around and even exotic weapons, Hell i'll even excuse you for keeping some year 1 legendaries that you liked. But c'mon, not every weapon/armor was good in Destiny. If you're hoping for some of that gear to be brought forward, have you not seen how they've handled thatin the April update? Year 1 weapons acquired through vanguard packages, meaning your current year 1 vault weapons you want to use still won't be useable... Seriously though, I don't care if vault space gets added or not, great if it does, idgaf if it doesn't, but there are way more pressing matters in Destiny than "more vault space so I can collect more things that I'll never use".

How the hell do you need more vault soace? Only a handful of good legendaries...year 1 stuff is irrelevent...and exotics you dont use can be bought from the kiosk

Sometimes, people who cry for more vault space remind me of Gollum from the Lord of the Rings. They don't actually use the stuff in their vault they just want to look at it from time to time. You know, admire the beauty, and wonderful power of the thumbnail picture of a digital weapon. So precious. :-)
