So apparently Y2 PS exclusives may not come to Xbox until 2017.
Yup, you read that right. The page was updated and now all of a sudden the Y2 exclusives + the ROI exclusive items are all of a sudden now all mixed together and won't be available on Xbox until 2017.
This is the type of bullshit that is going on with this game. I quit for awhile but came back because I honestly thought I could get back into the swing of things. Reading this makes me never want to pay another dime to the corrupt people who are in charge of this game.
I hope to god this isn't true.

Yes, I was banned from replying any further in my own thread. The cause, as stated by Bungie, is that they didn't like my use of the word retardud (spelt wrong because I don't know if they track that crap), even though it was not attacking anyone in the context I used it.
Suspiciously, they issued me no warning. They banned me straight away, even though I've seen people get away with far worse on here.
Also, another user who has been messaging me told me they were themselves banned for a bit even though they did not say anything bad.
Please people, keep this up. This PS exclusive issue can't go unnoticed.
Tweet them. DM them. Anything that puts this issue into the spotlight. It's their turn to talk now.

It appears this post has gotten traction. Good. People need to hear of this. If Bungie/Activision/Sony aren't willing to announce this then we'll do it ourselves.
Also, name calling doesn't bother me. Call me a child, entitled brat, idiot, etc. go ahead, get creative if you want. Doesn't hurt me in the slightest.
The amount of people that seem to be defending this timed exclusive deal is disturbing, though. Doesn't matter who payed what, it's an abomination of a deal that hurts players on both sides.
Additionally, please do not say Sony payed more for exclusives or Microsoft didn't pay up unless you HAVE A SOURCE.

PS: I'd like to say that I'm not trashing on Bungie here. No doubt they have no control of what is going on. There are others at Activision/Sony that are the ones responsible for this crap.

Let me make something clear, since it seems some of you aren't understanding the problem here.
We all know destiny has exclusives. We were told one year for content. Whatever, we can live with it.
Now all of a sudden it's changing to two years? Without anyone saying a word? This is the problem. Not that the game has exclusives, it's the fact that they're extending it without our knowledge.
Also, I'm not reading the page wrong for Christ's sake. Look at the asterisks and the scroll down to the bottom of the page. *Exclusive until at least Fall 2017. The asterisk is on Y2 content as well. Hell the page even says enjoy 2 exclusive PVP maps when ROI is only delivering one.

Screw this. If this is the way it is going to be, at least own up to it Bungie. I can handle that there are Ps exclusives. I knew it and went with a xbone anyway. What I can't is that they are going back on what they said when TTK was release and extending the exclusives another year. And all without even a "hey, sorry about that, here's some Vaseline."

3 RepliesMy favorite argument that I constantly see is "Yeah, well you got Halo" as if Play Stations doesn't have one single platform exclusive game, honestly, it gives me a real good laugh, not sure if these people are joking or stupid, a console exclusive game is completely different to exclusive content for a multi platform game like Destiny, so its actually a really stupid comparison to say that an entire console exclusive franchise spanning over 10 years equals a years worth of timed exclusive in game content for a multi platform game. Also, its not that we are pissed about Play Station having exclusive content, it has always been made clear that Play Station gets it first, for a year, and when that year is up we get that content while Play Station gets more exclusives to cover that new year, sure its inconvenient having to wait that long but we were told a year when that content was shown, and I am cool with that, what I am not cool with is lying, having to pay the same amount as Play Station users only to get less content and false advertising and yes this is false advertising, to my knowledge when the Taken King was released and when the April update came out and the Play Station exclusive content was shown they stated that it would all remain exclusive until fall 2016, we knew that then and we accepted it and moved on, looking forward to fall when we could finely try our hand at all this new content, but to come out and say a month before the end of year 2 that we will have to wait another year, well thats just unacceptable, and there is no logic behind it, fair enough if something gets pushed back because of technical issues, but to basically say, you cant have it, just because, is really, really pathetic. For all we know though, this has all been taken out of context, maybe we will still get all the Taken King exclusive stuff that we have waited our year for when Rise of Iron launches next month, I am sure Bungie will comment on this eventually, all we can do is keep the post trending and wait for it to be seen.

Even as a PS4 player, I think the exclusives are dumb. I started the game on 360 on day 1 because a friend on Xbox encouraged me to get Destiny. I then bought a PS4 because of Bloodborne and the number of friends/coworkers (including the aforementioned) that chose it over xbone, quite many of which don't even play Destiny.

In year one, Bungie said that the PS exclusive content will be available on the Xbox in a year. Then, without warning, the time-gate gets extended an extra year, meaning Xbox users are going to have to wait until year 4 (FOUR) to get content that PS users had in year 2 (TWO.) Now this may be a huge misunderstanding, but an explanation would be nice.

The way I see it, if Sony really paid Activision for the extra content, it should just stay exclusive, that way they can say, "hey, we paid to have these for the players on our platform". Kinda like retailer exclusive bonuses. The fact that it comes later only makes it seem like Xbox owners are paying the same but getting less.

And I honestly dont know why you got an Xbox for gaming, i think Microsoft themselves even said it was a multimedia console. Almost anywhere you looked it said PS4 is ment more for gaming. And honestly i dont blame Sony for most likely paying so Xbox people dont get exclusives for longer, its a competitive world, its what they do to battle and make people like you get butthurt. And honestly if your this pissed of about not getting a couple of crummy items, you literally should set the controller down and take a walk, you might have an addiction problems. So to be brutally honest with you, you most likely didnt do any research on your gaming and got an Xbox because "its whats better..." almost all of the people i play with now moved from Xbox and are really glad they made the decision, because they did the research and found Sony was a better choice. And PS: You sound like those people complaining that last gen isn't getting Rise of Iron, complaining for no good reason...

So no Echo Chamber Nightfall and Xur will not sell Jade Rabbit or Zen. I play on both consoles and have 3 320+ characters on PS4. I've never dropped either exclusive weapon on PS4 and I was hoping to get them from Xur at some point. Echo Chamber would be a fun Nightfall imo. This garbage needs to stop as it hurts PS players too.
