Wall of text. Add paragraphs. I didn't read it but I agree with the title, I hope that's okay.

First step to getting better is to admit this game has far too many issues to be able t reliably tell if you got out played, it lagged or the other player is cheating.

But what if I got killed by the Architects?

So I was doing elimination earlier and noticed one member of our team was only lvl 10 with 30 light. Using green shotgun and white guns. One member of our team left so that made the whole game a 3v2 I got sniped straight off the bat playing bannerfall. However mr lvl 10 went round and systematically took out all three. We went 3-0 up but lost heavy round. Then won the match 5-1. Mr 10 light gets a 13kd Played the next match and unfortunately he was on the other team. I knew the script tho and put on my try hard pants. We lost but mr 10 light smashed the leaderboard yet again. Checked his kd through the app, and he's already rocking a 3.6 kd in crucible. I mean is this wish you luck or some other streamer trolling us? Insane especially with those guns. Which goes to show, God roll guns don't turn bad players into good players. They just make great players a little bit better. Check the recent games on my hunter. The last two elimination matches. It's all there!

Yes I am truly outplayed when I can lead lobby for couple matches with 2+ kd, than magically fall to a .4 with 20 assists while still playing original lobby. If telling myself my aim was just off will make me better I'll try it. Lol

I'm average at best. I get outplayed all the time. I feel like connections can be really wonky in this game though. One game I feel like I'm shooting magic bullets and the next I can't hit the broad side of a barn. Destiny PvP is a very inconsistent experience for me. I hope that they invest is dedicated servers for Destiny 2. All the other AAA shooter titles have them.

That what I do. Just find a fun gun and go to town, Meta or not. If I die I die, it's a game I play for fun. Destiny has no ranking so I really don't see why people take it so serious.

I only asked bungie to nerf everything I am not using, and buff what I am using. This is the only way to make this game competitive. :)

You are correct, there can be no excuses. If you want to be amongst the best, then you have to accept that you are just not good enough. There are those few Guardians amongst us that are naturally gifted, but for the rest of us, the path to glory, is long and arduous. Many of us will never reach the summit of our expectations, but that does not mean that we cannot learn, and become better Guardians along the way.

It's not a 'better player' when then shoot and the bullets come through the wall and continue to cause damage, its bad programming. Cover is cover and, since armor piercing rounds no longer penetrate anything thicker than sheet metal, they shouldn't be coming through support beams or rock walls. But they do because the bad programming allows the bullets to reach their target although the target is protected because the game has a cone hit radius which disobeys the 'cover' rules. In simple language: you are hit because the bullet hit radius overlaps you although you are behind an impenetrable solid. The moment you reach cover, that hit radius should negate, it doesn't, so continuing to fire at me allows hits defeating cover. That's bad programming, not outplayed by a better player. And, this is the rule exploited in Destiny, not the exception. Many times you see bullet paths originating from angles that allow the bullets to reach you although the shooter is not the point of origin. They appear as if the bullets are coming from 'thin air'. That's the bad programming adjusting the visual bullet path to allow a hit, that shouldn't be possible. It's not being outplayed, it's being out-programmed. Dead players can't shoot! Grenades can kill you after the opponent died, but, the dead opponent can't shoot his gun to get a postmortem bullet kill. It's bad programming, not being outplayed. We both have the same shotgun with the same impact and range, you fire, I fire, you score a kill and I score minimal damage. I'm not outplayed, bad programming allows who fired first to get the kill although we both should have died. I animate a Nova Bomb, you Bladedancer me, I'm dead but my animation proceeds and you are bombed by a dead Warlock. You weren't outplayed, you were out-programmed by bad programming! I Nova Bomb, you Smash, blast kills you in mid animation (in the air, smash not created yet), animation proceeds and I'm killed by a vaporized Titan whose smash is impossible. I'm not outplayed, I was killed by bad programming! Yes, there are times when a player is outplayed, but it should never be because of bad programming 2 years into any game!
