4 RepliesWell I mean, lightning grenades and void grenades don't stick to people. I've never really had a problem with tripmines, but looking at it logically the nerf kinda made sense
-
Well what I want them to do for gunslinger is to buff the throwing knife again. Also make the super last just a bit more. The duration of the super is the main reason I don't use the subclass anymore. It's pretty sad how I need to pop my super close an enemy because that way I'll mange to kill them but that just leads to me getting killed by a shotgun.
-
1 ReplyThe gunslinger is just fine you're just really bad
-
I miss the stick in PVE more than anything in crucible. I still like to have two grenades and covet that ability on any character build. I just like things that go boom. They are very frustrating to watch it bounce off an enemy and then detonate with the cone facing in some random direction that does NO DAMAGE to anything. Well that was a waste, and with trickle this week, it is just really frustrating and annoying. PLEASE bring back the stickiness. I still find them to be fairly effective traps in crucible, but unicorns were always good for a laugh.

Edited by bobIin the goblin: 8/11/2016 3:58:31 PM... i play gunslinger for the super only... i never play huntar anyways and when i do i like shadestep or quickdraw too much, i have to admit though that the tripmise were fun to "unicorn" people with, i'm currently enjoying bladedancer with fusions as it gives me the chance to blast a shot and switch guns to finish off (like a sniper switching to primary to kill only way harder and far more fun). *fluffs away*

Waaaaah look a kid whining on the internet
-
Make lightning grenades sticky too!
-
No gunslinger grenades are a reliable one shot, nor are any of them sticky. I was pretty sure most other sublclasses had those. And please, don't list ones that do, I did say most.
-
I prefer blade dancer but i also agree with you as sometimes i like to run with double trips, they was so much fun before nerf now they are crap and not worth using
-
I still use gunslinger but I stopped using tripmine nade forever ago..
-
Has Bungie ever un nerfed something Most of the time they do something like "decrease the range of a gun" then latter "Increase the range but reduced damage"
-
Since they nerfed trip mines I haven't used young ahamkara's spine. However, since they buffed circle of life I've been using the throwing knives more often. Check my medals. I had 350 stick around medals and now I have 920 I think.
-
I wanted them to take off stick, buff the time they stay on walls nerf the amount of time that stay, nerf that red glow, and finally buff damage, I'm a warlock Amin and I think it's stupid how gunslinger isn't a viable subclass anymore
-
4 RepliesI don't understand why they even made tripmines not stick because I mean fusion grenades are more or less exactly like that are they going to remove stick from fusion nades and flux nades
-
I have no problem with the nonstick aspect of trip mines.
-
Honestly double tripmines and double knives was my favorite thing about being a hunter before the nerf, and I'm a warlock main.
-
3 RepliesWhy do people act like if getting stuck by a trip mine happened so often that it needed to be nerfed? We might as well take tracking off flux and fusion grenades seeing how the community thinks sticking people with trip mines (which have no tracking) is so easy. No one really ever complained about trip mines sticking, but once it got nerfed people all the sudden agree with it cuz realism? I guess? I'm sorry but this whole shit against trip mines being able to stick sounds more like spite from people who main other classes then anything.
-
Because I never used gunslinger very often I only found the joy of sticky tripmines a few weeks before they were unstuck. Even though I'd be on the opposing end more often than not as I mainly use a warlock or titan I think they should be changed back to the way they were.
-
Yes. All of the yes.
-
No. Just nerf lightning grenades.
-
They are fine for me. What i would like to see is a shorter detonation time when triggered.
-
1 ReplyNow, I hardly ever play Hunter, but if your Trip mine grenades actually stuck to people that would make them far more versatile than any other nade. It can stick to surfaces and easily foil corner campers. I don't even like fusion grenades. And the Incendiary Grenade is more useful for direct play, just saying. Now let the Salt FLOW
-
3 Repliestaking the "sticky" away from the trip mine never affected my style anyway. Best practice with trip mines is to throw them on very inconspicuous places around doorways or funnel points. If there is something to gripe about, it's the fact that your trip mine will detonate if it bounces off of a teammate of yours.

your
YOU'RE MOVE BUNGIE (say something)
The really stupid nerf wasn't trip mines not sticking it was the throwing knife nerf. I had never seen anyone in the community complaining about throwing knife's.
-
I wish they would just so the nerf titan posts would stop....
