Is it possible to get to 335 light without doing the hard version of the Kingsfall raid?
So far I have managed to go from a 309 up a 323 through Iron banner and lucky drops from faction packages. I was just curious if it was possible to get to a 335 without having to go through the raid again.
update: thanks for all the responses I now know that it is possible to get to 335 without raiding

I did, I didn't go into the raid after I was 335. I used exotics, heroic strikes and CoE to level up.

It is possible. I'm almost there on my titan, and haven't played a single raid

Iron Banner will do it. It's not spectacular, but it got my Titan from 328 to 333.

Just do the raid man, theyre fun and challenging. You won't regret it once you become a regular raider. I only did solo stuff early on in my destiny career but now I raid weekly. It makes leveling a breeze too and you can infuse all your favorite gear from what you get.

But without doing kings fall, you don't get 3 335 rocket launchers and a 320 machine gun at the same time. Just saying.

Yes but to get more gear, and guns too 335, the raid is the best option.

This is one thing Bungie did perfect with the April update. 1:1 infusion and ways for the solo player to reach max light level.

Yup. 3 of coins for exotics. Dark blade for a 335 helm and fusion. Omnigul for a 335 Pulse and class item. Court for the artifact. CoE for gear. Weapon at 30k armor at 90k.

Yes. Through exotic engrams you can get up to 335 weapons and armour (except for class armour). So always pop a 3 of coins when you play the Crucible or fight ultras. Use an antiquated rune at the court of oryx for a 335 artifact. Make sure you're at least 330 light when you use your antiquated rune. You can get a 335 ghost from post-game drops from iron banner. I find that the best chance to get these are to keep on playing after reaching Rank 5. You should also be at least 330 light. You can also get selected IB weapons and armour as post-game drops in Iron Banner. One of my characters is 335 light when I equip my highest light level gear. I have never even completed King's Fall in normal mode.

Yes, faction packages can get you to 330, shaxx weekly bounties can drop up to 335, along with challenge of elders, exotic drops, strike gear drops, trials, iron banner rank 5, and 335 artifacts from antiquated runes.

Totally. I have all 3 of my characters on 335 and never did the KF raid. Challenge of Elders, NF, IB, Heroics with 3oC - Rank up factions too if you are below 330.

And that is even from just running the original strike off the navigation map over and over. I think faction packages top out at 330. You can get a 335 artifact from Court of Oryx, at the higjest mode, but supposedly only if you were the one who places the rune

It is possible. I haven't done the raid in almost a year. I reached 335 without raiding or trials.

Went from 316 on three characters to 335 on all 3 without touching the raid.

Prison of Elders gives Everything if you do the complete the Elders Sigil, and Exotic Special Weapons. Trials of Osiris gives everything. Exotic Engrams and Nightfall loot, everything but artifacts. Strike Specific Loot, depends on what you get. Weekly Crucible Bounties, weapons or a random exotic. Court of Oryx, Artifacts can drop at 335. Note: You will not get something in each slot every week, e.g. Iron Banner is only once a month and has two armour pieces and two weapons each time. Prison of Elders can only give 1 weapon and 1 armour piece a week per character, E.t.c
