Am I lying? There's always 1 guy that just grinds your gears and you have to get him/her
What does it take for you guardian?
Edit: We're trending, nice! A few things I noticed that are fairly common for a lot of us...
-Nobody likes peek-a-boo hard scopers
-Universal Remote is a Universally hated
-Shoulder charging Titans are starting to be hated more than hunters
-Some of us are too cool to have a little in match rivalry apparently
I think a lot of people took the title too literally thinking I meant that you pick one person and one person only to hunt the entire match, now there are some instances that call for this but most of the time it's just a friendly in match rivalry with one person that when you run into them you HAVE to win that gun fight for several of the reasons mentioned in the thread.
At the end of the day it's just a little something extra to get the competitive juices flowing and make matches a little more interesting, nothing more and nothing less

Shoulder chargers

I have someone who irritates me, but I usually can't match them in skill level so I get a fireteam member to avenge me lol
-
Unless it's 3 vs 3, no
-
For me it's anyone using the same load out as me Mida/Iron Wreath Sidearm on a hunter with graviton forfeit. It's fun facing someone that's on equal footing. Last IB there was one hunter we just kept going at it completely ignoring everything else.

If I see someone using the same gun I'm using. If I see someone using something like the Universal remote, then I will pull out mine

2 RepliesNot really, the only time I really ever pick out someone's GT in the crucible is if they're lagging/rubberbanding really badly.
-
Usually if I go into a classic free for all with my fire team it's one of them

There are a few things that make me mad. 1. Red Bars 2. T bagging 3. Shoulder charging Titans 4. Universal Remote If all are combined I want to burn that person

8 RepliesEdited by Spyder_Z_Prime: 7/28/2016 2:09:31 PMLol! Yeah... Usually unintentionally though. I can respect getting sniped, shotgunned or just generally outgunned by a certain guy in a match multiple times. Then I analyze his playing and see what I can do differently to counter their tactics. But... If they T-Bag or get otherwise cocky, then I make it a point to do the same and get my teammates to do so as well. Last night for example, was in widows court, practicing with snipers (which I'm not good at) going for pulse rifle kill bounty... When dude decides to go T-Bag off of killing me on C when his buddy, whom I had killed, did most of the work. My team was behind a couple thousand and, up to that point, I didn't care about winning as I was just practicing. I smiled... Briefly... Said what we all say "Oh ho hoOO! That's how it's gotta be, huh?" Then I switched to Colovance and Invective and proceeded take him out. He got me two more times but I had him about 9-10 times, including when him and two of his buddies tried to cap B and I Havoked them and danced on his ashes. Score turned to our lead and he tried to come back for me as I took B with two teammates, he jumps over the wall and I shotgun him in midair for "nail in the coffin". Then the team proceeded to dance on his corpse as the end animation played out. Then we left the match to go to the Tower for a drink. Ahhhh... Good times. ^__^

I like to run a Titan w/MK 44 Stand Asides, Universal Remote, and a Sniper rifle. Am I enemy #1 then??? LOL My arch nemesis is always the first person that T-bags me. Especially when it was 3v1 and that loser got the last shot in. HAHAHA. Then I smash his/her face in with my knee, over and over and over again, with a wave each time. Whoever uses a universal remote and teabags or whoever teabags despite the fact that they're either 0-4 or are about to get mercy ruled

The tea bagger

Edited by Einien: 7/28/2016 7:58:32 PMMost the time I don't even know who I'm playing against nor pay attention to names. I just see red & shoot people. About the only ones I make it a point to go after is snipers. I will get around you then knife you in the back!
-
The one who either tbags or throws some kind of emote at ya after they kill you.

I am starting to agree shoulder charge should not be effective beyond 30 degree angle of current path...let alone 90 friggin degrees. defies all logical physics of momentum.
-
2 RepliesUsually for me it's the guys who snipes at my level, sometimes it's the guy who snipes better than me, but it's usually based around another good sniper :P

1 ReplyI can't find the moderaters reply.

Lag and latency are the biggest foes in the Crucible and we can't do a thing about it.
-
1 ReplyIf it moves, I kill it. Thankfully we can't shoot our own teammates otherwise my K/D would be epic.

5 RepliesI dunno man, I'm pretty indiscriminate in my brand of murder.
-
If and only if my 1st death is by a shoulder charge. I'll hunt that guy and only him the entire match^^
-
I like to be the "nemesis" or that guy who is wanted by the other team. I recently earned the relentless badge and my goal is to earn it each time I enter PVP.
-
1 ReplyThe people who make me rage and want to hunt them down are those who t-bag when they are losing or when the kill was not very good, ie a mop up kill from a fellow team member, sniping someone who was dumb enough to walk into a sniping lane, body sniping, etc. 1. T-bagging is never called for, I prefer to dance or point, and only if you feel the kill warranted it (wiping the enemy team and getting their heavy or getting a hat trick kill countering the same sniper in one match, killing a shotgun slider with a sidearm, those kinda things) 2. It is especially lame when a t-bagger is actually getting owned by the other team.
-
The first guy on the other team to go on a 5 kill streak - if I was one of those 5, then he's my nemesis the rest of the match. If there is an opponent who plays exceptionally well, not laggy but can dodge the shit out of your shots and can land every one of his - that can earn the nemesis status. Not all camping snipers, but if there is one that is camping in a very well covered spot - he's the guy. (Like the spot above the garage door on Frontier and there is a spot surrounded by boxes on Vertigo that fits the criteria.) There are other ways of earning that sworn enemy status, but it all revolves around players that I feel are a good challenge. I just laugh at teabaggers and taunters.

Warlocks that can't shoot and keep sticking you as you kill them
