only in relation to each of my own guardians - seems like they should be the same but they are not when I'm weapon testing it can, in a very non-scientific way, be a quick indicator if something is working for me or not (spread out over several games/gametypes/maps/etc...) I test a lot of stuff (there isn't much else left for me to do in the game until ROI) and sometimes those testing games really drag things down but I like to give stuff a good test to see if I can make it work Sometimes I find some real gems this way that are very unexpected and not being raved about on the forums.

Nope. I suck but I still like playing.

Its not a sleepless nights issue, but I'd like to see it go from 1.1 to 1.2 on my main (hunter) just to see some progress. It's harder than it sounds though with a high amount of both kills and deaths it takes significantly more kills than deaths just to go up by 0.1 of a percentage point. I'm happy with how much better I am now than I was when I first started. This is my first pvp game and I had no crucible skill at all. Also I'm trying to learn to snipe and experimenting with different primaries so it's slow progress.

As a person who basically does PvP only. Yes. In fact,Im going to delete my other character, don't play him,and make another hunter to help better show my stats today.

I do not care what others think of my k/d, but I personally do care about my own k/d. I simply want to do better at a game I enjoy and play. I used to have a 0.80 k/d but now am like a 1.05 overall. If you look at my recently games, most games I had well over 1.0 k/d. Some games I went over 2.0 or even 3.0 k/d, it is gonna take time to bring my overall up.

Not really. I go into crucible with friends and we just pop 3oc and we just do that for a few hours with rep boosters and we just have a laugh. We try different guns. We try getting sword kills on maps that arent very good for it. We try diiferent exotics and different subclasses sometimes even completely different classes. We try and keep things fresh and different and have a laugh about our succes and failures. Its just fun

i care while i'm playing (for some reason) but knowing my titan k/d is .9 doesn't bother me at all. i don't care how low i go when doing stupid stuff though but if i'm playing for fun and am trying a bit i'll get salty really quickly

No, trying to win the match is my main goal.....well, that and Bounties. This can be done by getting alot of kills and die very little, or sometimes you have to play the sacrifice run around to take the pressure off your teammates so they can capture a zone....among other sacrifices made in the name of the team.......every game is different.

4 RepliesNo don't care I'm drunk when I play half the time lol

2 RepliesNo sir. What does it prove? That you're successful? Have a nice paying job w/ a corner office? A nice car and a hot wife? Or You good at playing video games 🤔

As much as I would like to say no, it does. I struggle at pvp most of the time and to have 1.0 or better is what I try and hold. Does it matter in the big picture, sorry to say it does. If you consistently finish with a bad K/D every game then you are only feeding the enemy points. Sometimes I'm the source of said points, but that's just fact. Two or more players feeding the other team points effects everyone.

If I get 20+ kills I'm happier than a whore in a Dick tree, but otherwise I could care less about my k/d, I play for fun and to meet new friends.
-
If course everyone is going to say no unless their a good try hard
-
1 ReplyAs long as my average is above 1.0 I'm OK. My main concern is that I don't rack up the most deaths on my team.
-
If I play serious, I at least want to make more kills than deaths. Not for myself, but for the other people I play with.
-
Nope i just have fun getting my money's worth :)
-
No. Play game, have fun.
