Does your k/d matter to you?

Not when I play objective based game type, just wish other people would actually go play clash instead of control (no caps, just kills, and not even a good amount).

Yes. At least 2.0+

I got a 6 k/d today and still lost. (No cheating either). It mattered today.

Yes. It matters to me personally because, regardless of gametype, kills give your team points, deaths give the other team points. If I die more than I kill then I've essentially been more beneficial to the enemy than my own team. If I'm running support as a Defender then I still care about my k/d but my focus is helping take control points or areas and provide my team with orbs and buffs.

Nope. I don't go into crucible to pad my kd. I just play how I feel like playing. My titan's kd has gone down significantly since I made him. My warlock had a 1.8 in HoW. I wouldn't say I'm getting worse though, my hunter started ttk with a 1.4 so I'm pretty proud of that. I do, however, say "rip my kd" after a bad match but all in all I don't really care. I don't play to boost my stats, I play to have fun.

No but helping my team win does. I used myself as a target so a friend could get his weapon kills.

It has gone from .48 or so to a barely 1.00 in control. I wouldn't say it matters, but it's one of the few things for me to focus on until RoI since the same strikes are getting old and I don't like raids.

No , cuz I main PvE. I've only gone to crucible for Grimoire, legendary Marks, and the Mountaintop. It's not bad . . . It just not feeling it 95% of the time.

Yes but only because I want to help win and if i am going below a 1.0 its hurting not helping the team.

Considering i shotgun warrior, it is so I can gauge how effectively I'm trading and whether or not a certain strategy is working. This is a per match k/d though; couldn't care less about how my overall looks. I consider myself an above average (but not good) player, so people can state otherwise as often as they like.

no. this game rewards a good kd in no way at all, so why should I care? I get the same drops if I go 1-10 or 25-3 I play to have fun that's all.
