Remember the good ol' days when class items didn't have defense?
Seriously, who at Bungie thought that putting defense on class items was a good idea?
I want to be able to wear any class item that I choose. The ghost angel cloak, shattered vault cloak, and kellhunter's hood all are amazing cloaks. They were perfectly fine without defense, Stat boosts, or anything like that.
Same goes for any y1 content. Why would you make y1 content irrelevant when your game is desperately needing more content.
Edit: Let's get this trending so that hopefully someone at Bungie will see this.

It's based on the light system, each piece is worth 10% of your total light. Makes an easy calculation dear.

Edited by juharr: 7/22/2016 12:34:57 PMNo, because I'm a Y2 scrub, but I recently did VOG and Crota and got the Shattered Vault Cloak and the Glowhoo shader and when I combined them and the cloak lit up I was like "Why would you remove something this cool from new gear in the game?"

I wish we could infuse any gear being green blue or what ever. Class items should have been able to bump no matter what even if it was yr 1.

Yeah, I miss that. It's on the community wish list that defense stats stay off of class items, hopefully they'll implement that soon.

On my titan I used to wear a rare class item ( don't remember the name ) It's sad that we can't do this anymore :/

I wish they would make all ghost shells infusable. Some of the rare shells are really awesome (the verdant one is my favorite)
