Can we please stop the carries for ToO. It's getting ridiculous. I'm tired of coming across god like players carrying sub par players but wiping out my team every time. Once you have gone flawless for the week on that character you need to be locked out of trials or put into a different lobby against only players that have gone flawless that week. It will be like the Champion bracket for trials but still giving the guardians a chance to go to the lighthouse who have not made it there for the week.

4 RepliesMe and my friend recently carried a guy as a birthday present. I'll do what I want. ~TheGreatNike

Lockout in trials? Stfu man. This is a pathetic suggestion. I felt sorry for a team we played against last week, they were clueless. I friended them all and my mate and i took them all flawless for their first time, they were so happy. We found out that individually they can hold there own when they played with better players. They deserved there flawless even though they had stats people would cringe about. How about instead of expecting a silver spoon. Stfu and keep practicing. I was forced to do it in year 1 aswell as many others. I have no problem playing against someone who is carrying. It means they have a weakness in the team, take them out and its a 2v3. If you cant win a 2v3 then you clowns got outplayed.

CONTINUE CARRYING PPL PLZ

Ok ok so you think limiting carriers would solve the carries? Oh man you sure are wrong. Now you day how am i wrong? Welp its simple. Of i give a go player my account to ay on then it would also count as a carry and boom shit players like me will still shit on you cause theres a pro with the sticks. In other words there is always a method around it. Carries will always exist wether you like it it not you just need to try and go flawless just like shit players like me do. I have 11 flawless 4 in y1 and 7 in y2. If i can do it so can you.

7 RepliesIt's hard to do this because carriers/streamers don't typically use boons but the people they are carrying do. Most carriers streamers only get to 7 wins (the other 2 in the team get to the flawless 9) then get a new card and start with a new team. So I'm not sure how you could police that. The year 2 matchmaking is what killed trials for me. So much easier to go flawless year 1.
-
Carries provide you to play against people without experience/chemistry together
-
1 ReplyI like the idea. It would maybe give me the chance to go flawless at least once.
-
Why hate carries. You throw someone in there to replace the carry. 10 to 1 you still getting your äss kicked so.
-
6 RepliesTrials isnt about letting everyone go to the Lighthouse. If you want to go you have to beat the teams in your way. If you cant, get better.
-
The carriers will a just reset the cards
-
Generally beating carriers isn't too hard with a stacked team, but I agree either way.
-
I agree but carry teams are usually shit
-
3 RepliesI love facing carries. They're usually the most fun to beat.
-
9 RepliesIt is kind of ironic that so many comments are "get good" type of remarks...yet we are debating the merit of carries. Everyone should make it on their own merit. If that means a tiered system...so be it. I would rather see more people make it flawless on their own ability against equal comp than a small minority curb stomp and tbag their way there. If there is any game mode that should be sbmm, it is trials. It is the "competitive" PvP mode of destiny. But it is either not competitive for some or ultra competitive for others. It should be straight up competitive for all.
-
Nah because when my team of scrubs gives a team of carries and lighthouse guardians that L I can taste the lemon juice.
-
7 RepliesNope. Keep carrying. Actually please start carrying 24 hours straight. It's funny watching little girls like you squirm
-
1 ReplyI'm a mediocre player so playing in this so called "champion bracket" would literally make it impossible for me to play trials. However I wouldn't be able to drop down to the "scrub bracket" because I'd be too good. If Bungle made brackets for trials I really might be done
-
but the noobs want lewt
-
The typical circular and hypocritical response you're going to get here is:
The lighthouse isn't for everyone, unless a streamer carries you.
-
Don't care for anything you said besides getting rid of carries. If you can't get there without pulling your weight then you don't deserve to.
-
You must suck beyond measure, even I've gone and I suck. Maybe try a different strat? Next time, instead of whining, try playing snap, with your mum.
-
I hate people that whine to bungie or the government like they must have done to their parents to "make life fair".
-
13 RepliesThe problem isn't streamers, its your skill level. You want Bungie to create an "easy" lane by filtering all the players that were good enough to make it to the lighthouse. My advice is to practice and improve your game play. The lighthouse is not meant for everyone.

7 RepliesNow the people that are really good at trials, and go flawless every week do not want it to change. The lighthouse is not for everyone they say. But it's okay for people to get carried that's no big deal. Well I can see it from both sides, why do they want to feel your pain, if it had to tiers. They don't want a challenge they like wrecking people. But at the same time with all the carries people are still getting to the lighthouse that don't deserve it. I personally feel that if they had the tier system more people would play. People still wouldn't get to the lighthouse. Just think of trials as America, the top 1% stay rich and the rest have to find a way to get there. Maybe by winning the streamer lottery, or finding a group and making a get rich plan that might work. Just get a group keep trying, practice communication is key and maybe you will get there. But for now bungie, isn't going to change anything they love the streamers.

6 Repliesyup agreed people that say no usualy, not always, dont realise the small number of players that actually go flawless each weekend ive been trying go flawless with a friend who started playing at end of year 1 hes never been flawless and every time we reach 8 wins we come up against two teams carrying back to back n get our asses handed to us
