STOP the CARRIES for ToO
Can we please stop the carries for ToO. It's getting ridiculous. I'm tired of coming across god like players carrying sub par players but wiping out my team every time. Once you have gone flawless for the week on that character you need to be locked out of trials or put into a different lobby against only players that have gone flawless that week. It will be like the Champion bracket for trials but still giving the guardians a chance to go to the lighthouse who have not made it there for the week.

1 ReplyThe problem isn't streamers and I think the topic has gone off topic. The problem is the forums and LFG. and groups that make it mandatory you're at a certain level to get teamed up with. I understand that ToO should be special but the consolidation of only good teams in LFG make it unreasonable for the regular player to get a fair shake

I stream do some carries not many usually play with friends buy I'll tell you this, as long as I've played had many friends quit I have access to at least 5 accounts. Do you think it would matter if my main was locked out? Now I'm to lazy to do all that shit recovery stuff and I always want to be on my main. Buy if I've been playing for 7 months and have access to 5 accounts imagine how the guys who have been around since launch have...

This way the actual owner of the gamertag being "carried" isn't slowing down the progress to the lighthouse. It's kinda like hiring a maid to clean your house. Why do people keep posting this... Making a seperate lobby for flawless people will not work, all the carries are (most of the time) done without boons, so the carriers don't go flawless and keep in the 'not flawless' lobby.

1 ReplyMore low tier players need to play Trials. That would solve the problem of all the sweat. The overall skill-gap would decrease.

I'm REALLY average at PvP. Been flawless 8 times. Which compared to those who are elite, is really nothing. For me... It's something. I had to work for those 8 flawless. Facing guys with way better stats. How? Teamwork and communication. No carries. But I don't hate on those carrying. I don't think you realize how much better it is to face a carry than it would be to face a 3-man elite team who all play together regularly. Double carries are even better. You take out the singular guy and the other two usually buckle. I've watched streams before. These guys usually are getting yelled at by the streamer. Hearing callouts they have no idea what they mean. Pointers when it's too late to do anything. Their communication is bad and I feel really bad for both parties. Single carries get troublesome. They don't go in with a plan and usually rush. They're trying to get through the card as fast as possible. If I can do it, anyone can. Communication and teamwork WILL beat a sloppy carry.

3 RepliesI got carried once....i didnt like it because i felt i didnt deserve the end result. I didnt earn it. I want to find a team that i can consistently run 3v3 with and get better so when flawless does come my way i earned it. My biggest issue is not that i suck at it. I just need a team with the good chemistry. I do to much bounty trials runs its killed my kd so naturally it makes me look like a terrible player.

I'm pretty awful at PVP in general-but I like playing it with my friends- most of whom are very solid players. Should I not be able to play with them after they've gone flawless in a weekend? Using your logic, if people are truly being carried, then your team has the advantage of having 3 competitive players, not just 2 (because the third is scrubby trash anyway, right?). Play the game, make friends, get better- or not- but please don't come to the forums to whine about something that isn't really a problem.

Most sherpas dont buy the boons when they are helping people to the lighthouse, so you'd still end up playing them either way tbh.

I do double carries and I lose all the time :) trying to carry two guys is pretty impossible if they do not know how to play trials. That is why in double carries I need my teammates to actually do something and help me win the game for us. In single carries 3rd one doesnt need to do anything he can just sit back and watch two others kill everything. But when you are alone carrying two, teamwork is very vital that is why I think people I help to lighthouse actually deserve it since I am just a big help but cant do it all alone. I have gotten many lighthouse virgins flawless even at the same time just because our teamwork was on the point. Learning how to revive and push is pretty much one of the most important things in trials :p
