Package RNG can't be this bad
Hello destiny community, how's it going. I'm going to cut straight to the point here, I have gotten to a point at which I can no longer believe that I am just unlucky, or RNGesus is against me. I am not sure of the numbers exactly so I will give an approximation of how many packages I have opened, about 30-40 vanguard packages, and probably close to 80-90 crucible packages. I have yet to receive either a Longbow Synthesis, or an LDR 5001 from either, I have not even received a Zombie Apocalypse for that matter. There is a 1 in 22 chance in both the vanguard and crucible packages to get an LDR or Longbow. I gave up hope a long time ago but I can't believe that my RNG is that bad, curious if anyone else has this issue, or better yet if bungie can clarify if any of the guaranteed rewards have a greater drop rate because I swear It feels like I have gotten more armor pieces from packages then I have anywhere else.
Thanks for giving me your time, let me know if any of you are having this issue.
P.S. Please do not reply saying you have gotten "so many it's gotten annoying" or that "you have a bunch, but none have good rolls," that will only make people angry.

Missing a 1/22 chance reward 90 times: (21/22) ^ 90 = 0.01519 Or a 1.52% chance. Take that as you will.

Same I don't understand why you can't get them from engrams so annoying takes 2 hours with boost to level up go back and excited to get some beast gun but nope Armor that armor looks ugly and everything like wtf is that

8 RepliesIv hit rank 52 in crucible on my warlock and still no longbow and I haven't got and pdr either. My friend hit rank 2 with crucible and gets a longbow and then he hits rank 3 and gets another! TWO IN A -blam!-ING ROW!!! Its really pees me off. I got bored of destiny on ps4 so I bought it and started again on xbox one and in my 4th vanguard package it gave me a decent roll ldr, but still no longbow. I swear bungie hate me, i've done absolutely everything, been playing pretty much everyday since just after the dark below all the way through to now and have even bought it all again on another console, done both moments of triumphs, stuck around after losing all my characters somehow, and collected every exotic from year 1 and two. I've even pre-ordered the new DLC but they still won't give me a -blam!-ing longbow!

I get Dilluvian much more often than anything else suspect higher dimensional symmetry issues in the RNG math library Destiny was programmed with, but doubt anyone at Bungie has a mathematics degree capable of analyzing it.

5 RepliesMy play time is over 60 days. I have over 15,000 sniper kills and 78 shotgun kills. I've used the vendor snipers this entire time. :(... I trade 130 marks for 3 marks every chance I get. :/ But hey! I did get a 1k stare thats way worse than the quest one once. :(... I'm 100% convinced this game rewards terrible players with great guns to "balance" the game. But that's just my salty AF opinion.

When I looked at the stats, found that my Baron's Ambition is better... *sigh* I got LDR and Longbow before maybe a few times... dismantled them as I hate snipers. The only one I like is my Eirene.

8/10 I get Badger CCL from my Vanguard packages. Didn't even know they brought back LB and LDR. Did I mention the Badgers always have garbage rolls too?

3 RepliesI just repurchased the game for PS4, and am currently rank 37 in vanguard and maybe half that for crucible. I have one LDR, one longbow, a zombie Apocalypse, a swarm, shadow price, two saterinne rapiers, one comedian, one two to the morgue, and of course lots of armor. Don't hate me, but I think it's just RNG. I didn't have this luck on my XBox One for the last year and a half.

6 RepliesFaction packages are actually broken as in some players like me can't get the faction ship like the Comitatus. This is do to a broken loot table. And I have no idea when they are going to fix this but I have waisted way to many strange coins, about 52 ranks worth of heavy ammo and motes of light...

I'm rank 51 in New Monarchy and I still have not gotten the chroma chest piece. I've already gotten Comatatus and the exotic class item. Maybe one day.
