Give trials matchmaking
1. People can do bounties without having to gather their own team
2. It will make it easier on teams to reach lighthouse
3. Don't have to verse scarabs every game

Edit 2: Everyone seems to think this will effect streamers, well if they want a challenge they can try go 9-0 with match made teams. Embrace the salt I'm not replying to this post anymore

Upon playing Elimination with randos against an organized fireteam I discovered that this will lead to absolute slaughters. One asshat left the game as soon as it had begun and the other ran guns blazing into sniper alley for [b]5 rounds[/b]...

Matchmaking would also help find a fire team in your region, when ever I use lfg I team up with people on the other side of the world. This leads to me being Red bar, ruining my experience and the enemy teams experience. Would be Nice to play with people on my region so I don't get such bad ping

MM would be great if they kept it separate. One ToO for MM and one for non-MM would be great. I realize they've never done that before (except for Nightfalls being a harder, non-MM version of strikes) but why not ask for separation as well? The MM ToO could have it so you wouldn't get to go to the lighthouse to keep that as something special. And those in MM ToO probably wouldn't care about it too much because they would most likely just be going for bounties.

12 RepliesYou won't ever get it just like you won't get match making in all other modes in this game that should have it. To me personally it's a joke. Especially now, if you are not a PVP player and attempting to do this stuff now its near impossible because people don't want to make a fire team with inexperienced people. I get the reasons, however attempting to get a fire team on lfg or what have you is a waste of time. You spend more time looking at your phone or computer then you do playing the game some nights. It's a bad design period.

1 ReplyTrials is all about skill and when you play you should always play against a team of three vrs a team of three, if they started matchmaking then the team of three would easily win against the randoms making not as skillful as before ( and you are supposed to coordinate with your team with tactics and where the enemy team matchmaking will take away a big thing that makes too Too

I'm for it. I HATE lfg. I HATE the "team finder" on this app. You never know what you're getting. Regardless of how much better I am now, my crap stats from back in the day keep me from being accepted on teams with decent players. I'm forced to play with less skilled teammates and suffer through loss after loss just to finish bounties. Might as well let rng determine my teammates in 30 secs rather than spend 30 minutes building a team on lfg.

Agreed. I'd like to go against people that are my skill lever especially when I'm warming up and I only have 1 loss (0 wins).... And I get matched up with 3 scarabs

I have a question. If they put matchmaking on trials, coe, or anything else that already SHOULD have mm, and you put together a fireteam of 3, and then start the game, why would having mm affect you if you already have a team? Is that different than optional mm? Thanks.

1 ReplyThey won't implement it and I agree that they shouldn't. Matchmaking will lead to too many matches with quitters. It will ruin the experience of those who want to play it seriously, and ultimately ruin the reputation of trials of Osiris.

People already leave mid game in regular crucible elimination. It'd be a nightmare of quitters for solo players.

Add matchmaking, simply so I can stop hearing about it. Of course, then all we shall see are posts complaining that their randoms have no skill in Trials or that their randoms left them in a 1v3 game. Either way you're going to complain. ~[i]Praise the Sun[/i] \(._.)/
