How sweet would that feel? Being able to 1v1 guardians with your primary and see who comes out on top.
Being able to peek out of a hallway without having 3 snipers glares staring down at you.
Playing a game of trials where the opponent does not just sit back in their base and snipe.
Shooting your opponent with your primary, without the fear of being magically blained by his sniper.
No more TLW and sniper loadout.
Ohhhh this would be a sweet feeling indeed. I would feel...ummm.... What is that word...? ....... Balance???
Edit : Best post in this thread: "I closed my eyes and someone sniped me before my imagination could kick in."
Seems like people think it would be a shotgun fest. Doubt it. Shotguns were nerfed since year 1. They don't have the same range, nor is blink as powerful as before.

1 ReplyI can, it's called rumble.

4 RepliesThe pace of the game would speed back up alot but pve would suck without snipers. Imagine doing kf raid without a sniper.

*Gets sniped*
-
I see shotguns
-
No its fine
-
I have to say, it must be regional because I'm in Texas and it's all shottys here lol Once in a while I see snipers but it's a non issue here
-
A game where i don't have to be scared of corners or hallways, a game where gunplay and skill determines the winner
-
Year one...
-
Lots and lots of...shotguns...
-
This game without snipers would feel horrible to me.
-
Buff primaries
-
People would easy to kill! YES!
-
my eyes are already closed because I was cross mapped by party crasher
-
I just got very excited but then realised it will never happen.

In a low low voice. ." And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.."

It changes nothing. I'd still suck.

3 RepliesI already know about this place. It's called the Shotgun Campsite. Instructions: 1. Find place where snipers can't reach you. 2. Get out shotgun. Preferably an Invective or Lord of Wolves. 3. Wait. Drink a beer. Or a glass of healthy green tea if you're a warlock. 4. When sniper gets impatient and comes after you, obliterate him. 5. Dance on corpse.

but it is fun going against snipers with slow reaction times, lots of kills for yourself ;)

Amen✊

*imagines shotguns running the crucible again* *Remembers shot package* *Remembers felwinter's lie* AHHHHHHHH MAKE IT STOOOOOP!!! NO MORE
as much as I wish it were that easy, it will never be. There are people who play this game and have a certain... way of doing so. They just gravitate to whatever gives them an edge. This leads to something being over used, or something over powered being discovered Then people will bitch about it here. (Regardless if it's as much of a problem as people make it out to be) Bungie will nerf said things regardless if they deserve that nerf or not. And boom l; it starts alllll over again. And again. And again. Thus far the only things that haven't been nerfed are side arms, defenders, strikers, and voidwalkers. And that might not be the same for a while (even though none of that deserves nerfs) Remember the original auto rifle nerfs? The pulse rifle nerfs? The 3 consecutive fusion nerfs? Just pounding something the dirt won't balance it. Instead bungie needs to balance weapons and abilities all have pros and cons, rather than a few things being top tier and everything will cripple you if you refuse to use the top tier. That way, you can use anything you want, and the exploiters will be incentivized to use what they want instead of plaguing the crucible with the same thing ALL the time till it's nerfed.
why? because you would just have to make a new post crying about something else at that point... its a vicious circle with the crucible rage post... everyone thinks there play style is the balanced one... truth is having different play styles that counter each other is what brings balance.... not removing guns from the game and acting like it will improve your crucible experience
