Close your eyes, imagine the crucible without sniper rifles
How sweet would that feel? Being able to 1v1 guardians with your primary and see who comes out on top.
Being able to peek out of a hallway without having 3 snipers glares staring down at you.
Playing a game of trials where the opponent does not just sit back in their base and snipe.
Shooting your opponent with your primary, without the fear of being magically blained by his sniper.
No more TLW and sniper loadout.
Ohhhh this would be a sweet feeling indeed. I would feel...ummm.... What is that word...? ....... Balance???

Seems like people think it would be a shotgun fest. Doubt it. Shotguns were nerfed since year 1. They don't have the same range, nor is blink as powerful as before.

1 ReplyMmmmm....so some don't want snipers, some don't want shottys, some want nerfs for HC's, pulse rifles, autos, scouts, fusions, MG's, RL's, swords, melees, grenades, shoulder charges and all kinds of supers...how about a crucible mode where we throw stones and swear at each other ? Sooner or later a nerf would be asked for that too i think....

1 ReplySometimes getting sniped can get annoying, but there's a strategy to counter any type of weapon. Learn the terrain, and expect snipers to show up. Being predictable is their weakness, not yours.

4 RepliesI main a sniper, and when I play with a shotgun I do better than I do with a sniper because they're simply just easy to use. It isn't balance if snipers are removed, it's taking away one of your pet peeves, and there is a huge difference between the two.

Your shotgun comment is invalid because of the HIGH supply of shotguns in the crucible, I'm not crying about it either, I use all weapons (except scouts and sidearms, -blam!- scout rifles I'm bad and can't land a shot with them rip Mida dream and just can't use sidearms) I use my party Crasher longbow plan c, but without snipers, I can see a universal remote shotgun meta (if that isn't already a thing)but just shotguns everywhere [quote]close your eyes and imagine... 1 ReplyIs this mainly a trials issue? Don't seem to run in to that many primarily snipers in regular crucible and the ones that are out there can be countered with a decent scout/shotgun combo or by getting in close with a good hand cannon/shotgun combo. Each weapon type right now can be played with pretty well right now imo.

Destiny can never reach balance. Why? Because there are different options. And some options are better than others. Till Bungie nerfs them and then all the options suck.
