I will more than likely stick with it. I've (kinda) learnt that easing off and playing other games is cool, but I just can't get enough of the actual gameplay.

I am not a committed gamer, Destiny and Skyrim being my two main time wasters, but I'll probably stick with them. If the gameplay stays as smooth as it is, I'll hang.

1 ReplyYa know, until this past month and yesterday in specific, i may have agreed with you. But after being directed to the Bungie store (as a reward?) and being "given the right" to spend 30$ on an ugly Tshirt, i am fully realizing that Bungie is COMPLETELY OUT OF TOUCH with their fan base. I see this as utterly insulting, not at all a reward, and a completely underhanded attempt at getting Guardians to donate $ to charity in Bungie's name. You'll say: "but Beej, it's for charity, Bungie isn't keeping this money and you still get a shirt out of the deal." I don't need another shirt. And i don't need to be incentivized to do something kind. Real kindness doesn't use carrots and sticks, tricks or treats, or baits and switches. Whoever in Bungie thought this was a good idea should be ashamed of themselves. If i ever donate to the causes that the Bungie Foundation supports, i will NEVER do it in their name. These a$$hats don't deserve that karmic boost.

Agreed. I've teamed with probably hundreds of random people who have been excellent human beings; I could count the number of douchelords on the fingers of one hand. I love the core gameplay, my favourite weapons, the satisfaction of getting a higher light level, even the grind can be fun through its infuriatingness. I'm excited to see Destiny 2. Bigger please, more openness, maybe even cross-platform (if Sony and Microsoft can get it sorted out?). Exciting things are coming.

Yeah me too. Destiny just feels like "home" to me for some reason. Other games just don't do it for me anymore. This game just seems to fit me like a glove.
