You know, just incase the NSA unleashes the alien assassins to hunt down and exterminate the modernized human race, identifying their targets using advanced facial tracking software and in-orbit spycraft based on pictures posted on social media and such, returning our civilization to tribal behaviours that date back to the stone age preventing us from reaching out further into the cosmos and mounting an assault on other alien civilizations and generally stirring up a racket.
