  • He is the god of time.

  • Kronos is a Titan, not a god. And Kronos is the patron of the harvest, while Chronus is the God of time. Common misconception

  • Kronos or Chronos are the same person. Chronos means time though in Latin. He is the god of of multiple things, including harvest and time, like most gods. A Titan is a title like Olympian is he title of Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, etc.

  • Yeah sorry that one was my bad, I read somebody else's post and got my wires crossed. Just to simplify this let's keep our debate to the thread I just replied to, where I debated the Greek vs Latin root haha.

We're fairly certain that OP was referencing God's who stood on the pantheon of gods. Cronos didn't.

  • A Pantheon of gods is all the gods that are in this case Greek. Kronos is apart of the Greek Parthenon so you are incorrect.

"KRONOS (Cronus) was the King of the Titanes and the god of time, in particular time when viewed as a destructive, all-devouring force." Just because I am saying you guys are incorrect doesn't mean that I am pestering you.

  • Kronos wasn't an Olympian. He was the father of the Olympians and a powerful deity in his own right but he didn't stand with them, otherwise there would have been no great conflict and the Titans and the Gods would have both been central ruling forces in the Greek mythos rather than just the Gods who came to be known as the Olympians.

  • Look at my previous post and an Olympian isn't the only gods in the Greek Parthenon.

  • All of OPs posts are Olympians, save for Cronos. We're functioning under the assumption that what OP meant was which of these are Olympians and which aren't. I can acknowledge that as far as mythos goes you aren't wrong in calling cronos a god, since he was a god before God's were God's if that makes sense. But if We read OP's statement we can safely say that he may have used the wrong terms.

  • OP said which of the following IS NOT a Greek god. Not which one is not an Olympian.

  • If OP had included an option that had said "none of the above" we might be a bit more inclined to believe you, but when every answer is wrong you have to go with the answer that is most right. All of the items listed save for Cronos are Gods of a different generation then Cronos. Cronos is the odd one out in this case so he's the one who has to go.

Oh really? Then I guess the answer definitely isn't Apollo even though he is apart of the Roman Pantheon to. Don't assume when it plain out asks which god isn't apart of the Greek Parthenon.

  • It isn't but it plain out isn't what the post is about. You would be correct if it said which one isn't an Olympian god.

  • Meh, we still stand by our opinion, we respect your passion on this though. Even though we still maintain that the option for none of the above should have been there since it would have made this whole debacle a bit easier to sort out. That way you wouldn't have had to go to all the post pointing out that fact and OP could have had a poll that had the right answer on it if we look at the question he asked.
