Why do low k/d players not state the fact...
I've seen sooooo many posts with a message like " my k/d is Low because I...
1. Play the objective bla bla bla
2. Don't leave the game when others quit bla bla bla
3. Play for fun bla bla bla
4. Like to experiment with load outs bla bla bla
5. A truckload of other reasons...
Fvck sake.
My k/d is low because I'm not as good as others in pvp. It's not that fvckin hard to admit is it? Big fvckin deal. No one really gives a shyt anyway. Yeah I can still finish top of the pile in rumble every now and then, but not as often as others. That's it. No fvckin mystery.
For any of you out there who are justifying their low k/d on this forum: forget about it! Just fvckin play more pvp and practice and improve, and when you become a higher k/d player, be gracious to those below your ratio.
And that's fvckin that.

I had a K/D of .13 in a match today cause I threw myself off the map 30 times. WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I play for fun in this game and even though my kd is above average at around a 1.43 it could be way better if I used the so called meta or try hard guns more often.

My kd sucks because I keep trying to use non meta weapons outside of their effective range. Oh, and I am kinda bad on the PvP side of things too. But I just keep going, I am seeing some improvement, so no complaints there. I must admit I love two headshotting with the gunsmith Judith-D hc in IB tho :3.

I do not care about my kd. If I think the event looks like I would enjoy it, I play it. If I get curb stomped...oh well. There is always the next match in 30 seconds.

Or just don't care about KD in general... Destiny is the least competitive game out there, if you really try hard to maintain a positive KD, I'm sorry in my book you're a nerd. I have a 1.36, used to be 1.41, it's a decent KD, but I experiment with loadouts and play for fun, it's not an excuse, I simply just don't care for KD as it gets you no where in life or in the game in general.

My k/d is bad because I get shot in the face a lot. I also use myself as bait a lot to lead people into the loving bullets of my team in an effort to get the win for the team, k/d be damned.

1 Replyi go positive majority of the time now with my titan, out of maybe 30 iron banner matches i went negative maybe 5 times, my kds only 1.1, i believe thats beacuse i havent been playing it that long and the initial learning curve has meant that majority of my early games were brutal and still effetcting my ratio, i think in a couple of months it will be quite a bit higher bit not that i care but thats my story tho
