Make year 1 armor infusable
Okay, I understand why most Year 1 weapons need to stay year 1, popularity/elemental primaries, but why not just update all the year 1 armors.
I mean, no armor that's legendary really has anything that make any OP, many people just like the looks of old armor, especially the cloaks.

They brought back crucible and vanguard vendor weapons. If they were to bring back any armor, it would also have to be Crucible and Vanguard armor. And they've already done that. FWC = Vanilla armor. NM = TDB armor. DO = HoW armor. Also, year 2 trials gear is the same as year 1. Now, if you want raid armor, or IB armor, that isn't going to happen. Sorry to burst your bubble. #TitanMasterRace

While I would love it if they just added an infusion option to my vault of glass cloak at this point they probably won't go back and change that to avoid pissing off everybody who already scraped theirs. Rather I think what will happen is they will find a way to bring back the original raids with some kind of twist, and when that happens there will be infusible gear drops.

2 RepliesIt's never coming back. Because of the vault space issues Year 1 players had to delete a lot of their old gear. People would flip if all of a sudden Bungie changed their mind once again. I'm sure they will bring it all back in Year 2/3 version because they are too lazy to create new gear.

Like you know how Shaxx sells 2 helms under different names with different colors but the same "shape"? Well look at some rare ones. Amazingly cool

Cozmo has taken note that plenty of folks want the class items to not account towards light level so that we can still use the Year 1 gear. Expect that to be added to the Community wishlist and if it tickles your fancy give it more attention. As far as Year 1 armor getting infusion, it's probably not gonna happen. If the devs were to bring back Year 1 armor they'd more than likely try to update it to bring it forward into Year 2 and that could mean revamping stats and perk nodes. At that point it would mean that they'd just create Year 2 versions and still leave the Year 1 versions the way they are; we'd probably have to regrind all over again, especially for raid sets. Kinda sucks because stuff like the VoG armor has great perks outside of Oracle/Vex bonuses such as the Fastball perk for greater grenade throwing distance and the Special Weapon Reloader perk, which works for all specials and not just one type.

The armour has better perks though, so this won't happen. It's why I'd like the old raids back, but I understand why they won't come back anytime soon

3 RepliesQuestion: What would this do/has anyone tried the yr 1 armor in pvp/pve for the transfer of perks. Examples: 1. Prime Zealot Gloves, Dogged Gage, Kellhunter's Rally - Increase reload speed for all special weapons. 2. Gravebreaker 2.1 - Replenish super energy when you kill an enemy. I imagine for the sake of these ^ perks alone they'd not be brought forward as-is, since I haven't seen perks like this on current yr 2 armor. Of course, I could have missed something.

They probably just don't want to have to make new int/dis/str stats for all the old armour so they just leave it in the past OR they could just give us F**KING TRANSMOG ALREADY
