When will you realize 90% of the community hates SBMM
I'm sick of playing with handicapped blue berries on my team that can barely drop a 1.0 in the easiest matches. While I am forced to play sweaty people that have a 1.7 and above. Nobody likes it bungie. We're all tired of being your test toys. I'm sick of every match being a sweat fest. Just fix up your game and stop just jerking off to your money. I wanna be able to have fun in crucible without getting matched against a team of 6 storms using thorn and matador.
Also if you enjoy SBMM the 90% of the other people don't. We can't get every person that plays destiny to vote so this is all we got.
The lag makes it worse, I play a match and there are 3 people on the other team red barring. I kill them after a couple of shots then I somehow die 20 seconds later to them. It's ridiculous how lag can make someone better at this game but in other games it makes it worse.

3 RepliesWell, I guess I don't need to make a post asking of SBMM is still in affect. I was a beta player. Logged thousands of hours playing this game. Let me be clear: I love nearly everything about destiny. I've never been captivated by a game in such a way. But: I quit last month. SBMM made my favorite part of the game, the crucible, exhausting to play. I was an above average player. Top 10%. But after gritting my teeth for months in sweaty games, I had had enough. It feels like I was punished for being fairly decent at the game. Here's the real truth: when you're good at something, you want to feel like you're good at it most of the time. Sure there are games where you get your ass handed to you, but that's the game. SBMM makes it so I was always clawing my way to victory. I'm fine with that for tournaments (IB, trials), but for everyday play, I want to have a good time. To the lesser players, if you think it's about pub stomping, it's not. It's about doing as well as I should. Why should you be handed an easier game? One that I put time in to get better at? Why are you granted a participation trophy while I fiercely compete? I don't expect to win every game. Or go unbroken. But SBMM has brought my exodus. And it makes me sad. I'll return, but only when there are options for a more casual experience.

People like the concept of discovery. Going into a match with consistent people who are equals becomes boring. I bet those poor folk wouldn't also mind having games where they stomp other poor folk. And games where they get stomped. It also helps self learning rather than watch s YouTube video, get top on leaderboard and next match you're against people who watched similar YouTube videos. Also it would help people introduce their friends to the game without having their sitting muscles spanked because their hosting friend is better than them.

If you're under lvl 40 there should be a lvl based matchmaking because blues cant compete with grasps and last words. Which is the new meta by the way lol but other then that -blam!- sbmm.

I don't care whether there's SBMM or not. I'll admit it, the only reason I personally want it gone is because I'd rather pubstomp than good enemies.

The newest settings are more aggressive about keeping latency low than we’ve ever had in Destiny. I don't think it is SBMM, it's more of a team based performance match, you ever wreck a game in pvp to still lose because there are 3 players on your team that are garbage? I'm just thinking out loud 😊

Let's face it, if they could they would just make this a Halo Clone (pretty much is now, just with very shallow RPG elements).
