When will you realize 90% of the community hates SBMM
I'm sick of playing with handicapped blue berries on my team that can barely drop a 1.0 in the easiest matches. While I am forced to play sweaty people that have a 1.7 and above. Nobody likes it bungie. We're all tired of being your test toys. I'm sick of every match being a sweat fest. Just fix up your game and stop just jerking off to your money. I wanna be able to have fun in crucible without getting matched against a team of 6 storms using thorn and matador.
Also if you enjoy SBMM the 90% of the other people don't. We can't get every person that plays destiny to vote so this is all we got.
The lag makes it worse, I play a match and there are 3 people on the other team red barring. I kill them after a couple of shots then I somehow die 20 seconds later to them. It's ridiculous how lag can make someone better at this game but in other games it makes it worse.

You need to add 'without dedicated servers' to your title. The idea of sbmm is great as you want to be matched with people of equal skill. The issue should be highlighted that without dedicated servers sbmm will give a poor experience for players.

2 RepliesI just want to play a match without lag, dont really care if the people are gods or complete shit. I am trying to have fun whether im sweating to compete or trying to chill and mess around because i honestly dont care as long as everone plays on equal ground, without lag interfering. i cant even remember a time since ttk came when the entire lobby was green and no one was teleporting around. It just never happens. It has been especially bad as of late, not sure why but it just keeps getting worse and worse. I dont need new content yet. Rise of iron looks fun and all but i expect a game that is relatively bug free. I would love to see damage referee work as intended or be removed completely for a new system. I would prefer a game that has faster matchmaking times and lobbies that have good connections with connections prioritized over everything. Once it finds a pool of players with good connection, then find the skilled ones in it. Dont find me skilled players with bad connections and just throw me in a game with people scattered across the world.

When will you people realize it's not SBMM that's the problem but the -blam!-ing Netcode. It's not rocket science to realize that it's been lagging since day one, yet you continue to complain about the wrong thing.

35 RepliesBest months of destiny was when sbmm was in full effect. Play against players at your level and quit whining. Casual players should never be in a crucible game with players vastly better than them. It degrades the experience and turns players away from the game. Players cannot get better if they are always the bullet sponge.

1 ReplyEh. We need some compromise for this. Full on either way isn't good for everyone. Nothing simple ever works for everyone. So we need some sort of complex system that searches for players based on skill and connectivity, in a kind of dual spiral. Searches for best connection and appropriate skill level, then works outward as it grabs people, as it needs to fill those holes. If it can't find people inside of 3x-5x in skill, it expands to 2x - 6x. same for connection, but more work your way down. cant find anyone in 10y with 3x-5x, expand to 9y, then 8y, then 7y, etc, until we start getting to what the borderline between green connections and yellow connections, so it starts over at 10y and now 2x-6x. Obviously this is all complete and utter bull that ive put forth, is barely a framework made of popsicle sticks, and has NOTHING to contribute to the coding side i.e. the most important part, but it's something.

1 Reply90% of the Destiny community uses SBMM as a scapegoat for anything bad in pvp. It's like blaming the president for gas prices. Could it be better? Yes. But I'd wager the majority of the anti-SBMM mob would be pissed off at something else if SBMM wasn't the flavor of the week.

Once I find a match, the other laggy team gets destroyed in 3 minutes and then it's back to 10 minutes of floating around looking for another match. IMO, Bungie needs to consolidate all the playlists into just 3 or 4. 3v3, 6v6, Rumble, and then whatever the featured event is (Trials, IB) There are too few players in the game right now to have 10+ different playlists.

I'm totally with u I loved this game so much until today I raged quit which I never do the lag in iron banner is a total joke. This game is totally broken rite now lag and sweat fest is all u come up against. -blam!- the sbmm off and have some sort of ranked playlist where all the sweaties can sweat together
