When will Warlock's have an evade ability?
[spoiler]Not a Nerf post[/spoiler]Hunters have Shadestep it comes as a perk and in Graviton Forfeit. Titans have Twilight Garrison but, where is the Warlocks? I'm not complaining or anything just curious. I know there's an exotic Warlock boot yet to come. Hopefully it will come in the the upcoming DLC Rise of Iron. What type of evasive maneuver do you think the Warlock will have?

400 Replies alot more feedback than I thought this post would get. There are some reasonable arguments why Warlocks shouldn't have an evade. I agree with each class should be unique. The example Warlocks & Hunters have blink
Hunters & Titans have evade.
Titans & Warlocks have overshield.
Although the Titans blink is Shoulder Charge. Also the Warlocks overshield got a nerf. This is just something to think about I'd say.

Doesn't really fit with warlocks... That would be like giving hunters shoulder charge. Every class should have a special ability that the other classes don't have. But to mention warlocks have very poor mobility in comparison to titans and warlocks. It makes sense that titans get twilight garrison because of how mobile they already are. Personally I think something silks be shared by at least 2 class. Hunter/titans titans/warlocks warlocks/hunters.[spoiler] I'm dumb anyhow[/spoiler]

The titans blink is shoulder charge? LOL. Try dodging stuff with shoulder charge which you need to sprint and not use your gun for it to work. Try dodging rockets with shoulder charge. Try backing away from danger with shoulder charge. Hunters and titans have an evasive maneuver (shade step/twilight garrison) Warlocks and hunters have blink Warlocks and titans have an over shield, although both have downsides (flame shield is not instant, and disintegrate requires a kill) Everything is fine where its at, warlocks don't need any kind of evasive maneuver, what I just mentioned is what makes classes unique.

Not giving every ability to every class keeps things diverse so you're not just playing the same thing with a different name. Edit: I've read a few reply's and some of this community is severely handicapped. First you cannot use a super as an argument against a regular ability and second there are three abilities, not including shoulder charge/juggernaut and supers, that only two of the three classes have and they are as follows. Blink:hunters and warlocks Evade:hunters and Titans Overshield:Titans and warlocks. If every class has every ability in the game then there would be no point in having classes.

2 RepliesIt'd be cool if warlocks did have an evade to exotic boots. I'm thinking it'd be like a sideways blink (you have to be on the ground) and it'd have the same distance as shadestep and evade. The sideways blink would also make sense to warlock lore.
