Do you report players in control for inactivity when....
....they have high kills and k/d and low or no zone captures? LOL...just wondering because it does seem they are inactive when it comes to the game objective.

7 RepliesThe game objective is to control the zones, not capture a shit ton of them. It stands to reason that the people that are getting a whole mess of kills and not capturing zones are doing more than the people that continually flip spawns because they think capturing the most zones is how you win all the while going neg AF because they're rushing the enemy home point. It's not zone control, dude. It's just control. Kills is how you win.

1 ReplyFirst off I'm not going to be useful to my team if I don't get kills. Secondly a person with no caps could have defended all game long. If 3 ppl are capping a point, I'm going to defend them from outside the point or move along because I'm no good to my team dead. Run head first into every zone and die. You are hindering your team not the guy preventing the other team from capping by always pressuring them.

6 RepliesFunny story, I had a 32 kill control game with the second most captures on my team. Got a message from someone telling me it wasn't about kills (team mate). He had less captures than me. I had over 6k points.

Nope. I'm happy for them to keep the opposition at bay whilst I sneak in for the capture. Taking opposition control points requires tactical thinking and situational awareness. If that isn't their strength, let them keep the enemy busy.

Only time I report anybody is If they sit through the whole game and don't move. That includes PvP and PVE. I report them as inactive. For the people that have 20+ kills with no caps....I gotcha, I always rank high with caps, you guys keep killing I'll get get the caps....teamwork!

Now that you have 2 flags, play clash. As long as you can hold B & not get outslayed too much, you don't need more that 1 cap. Oh & it's called bloody "Control" not capture, so stop insisting on capping every flag in sight. If caps are so important to you, play zone control.

Nope its just a game and I'm not a !@#$ head about it. I think the only time I report anybody ever is when they are being total jerks in game or sending me messages in game. Otherwise what do I care if somebody ran to the bathroom or had to take care of their Baby or who knows what. I've actually played with somebody in a Strike who actually got sick at the start and invited me to their party near to the end to give me the biggest sincere apology for making me 1-man since match making only left us two in the strike. Been friends with said person now 3 months after Destiny Launched.

I mostly report red bars that teleport, don't register damage when I shoot them point blank, and maybe report them unfriendly if they teabag me :)
