Shoulder Charge is not the Problem. You are.
I'm seeing wayyy too many posts calling out the dreaded Shoulder Charge.
"It's OP!"
"Throwing Knife got nerfed so should Shoulder Charge!"
"It rewards you for running!"
It's not OP in the slightest. If you let a Titan come at you full speed when you have a State of the Art, Handy Dandy thing called a Radar you deserved to be knee'd in the face.
There are plenty of counters to Shoulder Charge let's list some:
Primaries
Secondaries
Heavy Weapons
Grenades
Melee
Supers
Teamwork
Agile Movement
Running away
Wow looks like pretty much anything will stop it.
All in all Shoulder Charge is fine. No need to nerf it.

2 RepliesIt needs to be tweaked a bit . cool down needs to longer or something .. it seems to be wayyy overused i find titans charging at me full speed instead of trying to shot their weapons .

1 ReplyNeeds longer cool down and I even play as a striker and say that. The only thing that can counter it is a shotgun really, once they are close your either dead or you shot gunned them.

No need to nerf it.[/quote] I couldnt agree more.... just as bad, is when people try to cover up their nerfing views with "id just tweak it".... no lets leave it alone and allow it to be one of the few consistant functions that are left in this game...

Everyone knows shoulder charge is mediocre, but people are still mad over their class being tweaked

Out of the average, let's say 14 kills a match, usually only about 2-3 are from a shoulder charge. There are other Meyer kills, cause pinning things is great, but the actual shoulder charge accounts for a minor amount of actual kills. It's very situational and easily countered.

1 ReplyIts a quickly recharging ability that has no limit, and is a 1 shot. Yeah that doesn't sound like a problem. Sorry m8 but you can't run away, use " teamwork " ( dude its destiny ), melee, or use primaries to kill a shoulder charger. He will kill you before you can. Oh and if you have to use supers and heavy's to kill one guy using a shoulder charge that just proving my point. So how would you fix shoulder charge? Simple. tie it to the melee ability, if your melee ability is not up you can't use shoulder charge.

4 RepliesThe Titan is not the problem. The nerfs to the other subclasses made them weaker in comparison. Bungie has data showing the Titan as the least used class in the Crucible. So what does the developer do? Nerf the others so players have no choice but to switch to a Titan if they want to run the strongest character. It's exactly the same thing that happens with weapons. Nerf one gun and force players to use another gun. Play the game the way Bungie wants you to and STFU community. That's the Bungie message to the player base.

By the way Bungie has been issuing nerfs lately striker Titans will be hit , Lightning grenades shoulder charge and juggernaut to be precise, it's only a matter of time .

Honestly if titans want an evade so badly why not just give them the simple charge where they can close a gap quickly and have peregrine greaves add the whole shoulder charge damage to the perk that way if they wana have soulder charge they have to give up an exotic slot.

It's not OP, but you're blind if you don't believe it's the most powerful ability in Crucible right now. "But strikers have been the same for 2 years" That's what I was saying about Sunsingers.
