Advice: DON'T PRE ORDER RISE OF IRON
I know they are offering a y3 ghorn. But they are just trying to milk money away from everyone. Again. Also this ghorn should be for everyone, not just pre order.
Remember when everyone pre ordered destiny and they cut out content because they made all the money they needed? Yeah I remember that too. Remember when everyone pre-ordered the expansion pass and they cut content again and what was promised in the game? Yeah I remember too. Remember when everyone pre ordered ttk and they still haven't released half the exotics they advertised? Yeah I remember that too. That's the big deal. When bungie sees they made their money back they cut content.
I hope the community has learned their lesson from bungies history.
Edit: for all you people saying "don't tell me how to spend my money" you're either not reading the actual post or you're literally indoctrinated by bungie. I have never seen someone promise so many things and then fall short everytime and people still believe them. It's amazing.

So far in hearing 3 arguments:
1) don't tell me what to do with my money. Okay, fair enough, but you ought to think about my point rather than just react, because bungie has a history of under delivering and it's going to happen again if you guys aren't careful.
2) I'm going to get it might as well pre order. I encourage you to wait until the last night, before they can cut out content again.
3)that people say they spend enough time to make it worth the money. Yes I agree. My only issue is with false advertising and cut content. [/spoiler]

No they are offering a different skin for a weapon everyone will have the opportunity to EARN FROM THE SAME QUEST. Cosmetic pre-order bonus.

I just want to tell you that people are still are gonna be able to obtain year three gally. The pre-order only gives you a skin similar to how suros got a new paint job. Still able to get gally. Just not that sick black skin.

Well said, I am still going to pre order though haha I am addicted to Destiny and don't think I'll stop again. I stoped playing for a few weeks and it was like going through a withdrawal haha I know the game has a fair few flaws and a very dubious past in decisions on the game and one of the worst game testers in the entire industry if a non existent one (literally 3 seconds of OG vex in PvP would have been caught by Hellen Keller as OP as fuçk) But I've had some of the best gaming moments of my life in this game and met some fukin awesome people. I don't have the money or the inclination to get a full gaming computer rig so I really appreciate a semi MMORPG/FPS thingy that Destiny has created for console. To this day it is a very unique game with the most polished gunplay mechanics I have ever seen. I couldn't agree more on your points though haha (still waiting for my Fire lord) I see no problem in questioning shabby business practises and false advertising but that doesn't stop us from loving the game.

Although I've poured my money down the drain by preordering every other DLC they have dropped, I was really excited for this and will most likely do the same. I haven't played in months now (and still won't) until the DLC drops. But I'll definitely be back when it drops. Plus the Fallen is my favorite enemy! This content looks great! I doubt I'll be disappointed. I even thought HoW was -blam!-ing amazing.

Do you think creating fluid content is an easy task? Do you think coding something like Destiny is a simple task? Would you do your job without getting paid for it? Probably not...but considering the fact that you cry about spending $40 every three months or so, I bet you dont have one. I don't think the pre-order argument holds up very well on established titles. If people are going to buy regardless, why not get the typically crappy rewards that go along with it? And being a digital download only, I can't rent it first as I normally would with a standalone title such as Overwatch or Division. I can wait for reviews, but I enjoy the game. So why wait?
