Advice: DON'T PRE ORDER RISE OF IRON
I know they are offering a y3 ghorn. But they are just trying to milk money away from everyone. Again. Also this ghorn should be for everyone, not just pre order.
Remember when everyone pre ordered destiny and they cut out content because they made all the money they needed? Yeah I remember that too. Remember when everyone pre-ordered the expansion pass and they cut content again and what was promised in the game? Yeah I remember too. Remember when everyone pre ordered ttk and they still haven't released half the exotics they advertised? Yeah I remember that too. That's the big deal. When bungie sees they made their money back they cut content.
I hope the community has learned their lesson from bungies history.
Edit: for all you people saying "don't tell me how to spend my money" you're either not reading the actual post or you're literally indoctrinated by bungie. I have never seen someone promise so many things and then fall short everytime and people still believe them. It's amazing.

So far in hearing 3 arguments:
1) don't tell me what to do with my money. Okay, fair enough, but you ought to think about my point rather than just react, because bungie has a history of under delivering and it's going to happen again if you guys aren't careful.
2) I'm going to get it might as well pre order. I encourage you to wait until the last night, before they can cut out content again.
3)that people say they spend enough time to make it worth the money. Yes I agree. My only issue is with false advertising and cut content. [/spoiler]

18 RepliesI pre-ordered earlier tonight. 3 of my buddies that have been playing with me since beta also pre-ordered tonight. We all love to play this game. We're mostly older guys, and we have fun while playing. $30 is well worth the fun we'll have continuing our journey through the Destiny universe. Lighten up. It costs money to release content. It costs money to rebuild a company after a split. It costs money to do anything any more.

Players who didn't preorder can also get a year 3 Gjallahorn from the rise of iron quests The preorder just allows players a choice for an black/silver version within the game alongside the original. Get your facts straight before going on a rant.

Y3 gjallarhorn is for everybody. The preorder just gives you a black skin. Not a big deal for an expansion we all were going to buy anyway.

Yep, I think it's absolutely disgusting what they're doing. The problems with Gjallahorn haven't gone away, but Bungie have decided that wringing a few bucks from WAAC children is more important to them than game balance. I doubt I'll be buying the expansion at all as it's just such a cynical move on their part. Without the Gjallahorn it's not like I'll be able to participate in endgame content anyway.

The Year2/3 Gjallarhorn is for everybody. You can earn a normal one by a quest but if you preorder the game you get a black one from the quest.

Preorders hurt the gaming community in general But they did state that you can obtain the ghorn in a guest Lastly i do agree, when the ghorn gets flashed and said odtain early by preorder i get worried that its a selling point and theres not as much content as made out to be
