Advice: DON'T PRE ORDER RISE OF IRON
I know they are offering a y3 ghorn. But they are just trying to milk money away from everyone. Again. Also this ghorn should be for everyone, not just pre order.
Remember when everyone pre ordered destiny and they cut out content because they made all the money they needed? Yeah I remember that too. Remember when everyone pre-ordered the expansion pass and they cut content again and what was promised in the game? Yeah I remember too. Remember when everyone pre ordered ttk and they still haven't released half the exotics they advertised? Yeah I remember that too. That's the big deal. When bungie sees they made their money back they cut content.
I hope the community has learned their lesson from bungies history.
Edit: for all you people saying "don't tell me how to spend my money" you're either not reading the actual post or you're literally indoctrinated by bungie. I have never seen someone promise so many things and then fall short everytime and people still believe them. It's amazing.

So far in hearing 3 arguments:
1) don't tell me what to do with my money. Okay, fair enough, but you ought to think about my point rather than just react, because bungie has a history of under delivering and it's going to happen again if you guys aren't careful.
2) I'm going to get it might as well pre order. I encourage you to wait until the last night, before they can cut out content again.
3)that people say they spend enough time to make it worth the money. Yes I agree. My only issue is with false advertising and cut content. [/spoiler]

After all something happened during development that caused people to leave, schedules to change, etc. I think we got what they told us was coming for the expansions. Nesides whatever happend during development of Vanilla definitely affected the expansions. They treated TTK like a full release, and we got what was advertised. Apart from the two Thunderlord type exotics and a few datamined ones. But those were datamined, not advertised. And well, one or two exotics isnt significant enough for me to say they "cut content". So yes, I will preorder as soon as it becomes available here in the UK. I trust that they will put in the game what they showed in a livestream that was broadcast to over 200k people and others watched the archived stream, and with only a few months before release I dont think they will cut anything out without having to delay it. Remember they have to get it checked again and it has to pass tests before they release the suspected cut up version of it. So we will know if they do. Besides why are you playing a game where the company supposedly cuts the content to make more money? Unless you like it regardless? Then just shut up and pay you will do it anyways. Edit: The Iron Black Gjallarhorn is a skin btw.

I already pre-ordered. I did it this afternoon. I just logged right on into the PS store, and I pre-ordered the shit out of it. And you know what, before 20 Sept, it's highly likely I'll log into the X-Box store and pre-order from there as well.

The point is this. If you love playing Destiny (and there are many who still do) and want to get the new dlc then you [i]should[/i] preorder it. You're going to buy it anyways to continue playing the story and also to play with your friends who have it. At least now you can get a reskinned rocket launcher when it arrives. If you're not bothered about the cosmetic looks of a weapon you will probably leave in your vault (unless they reverse that pre y2 nerf) Then it won't make a difference if you pre order if or not.
