Sitting down to look around corners is really helpfull learned that from Ramblinnn back in Y1

My problem with sniping in this game is that 99% of the time I use a sniper, someone else is trying to snipe me back. It comes down to who can put their scope over the other guy first (which I can never do). But that's why I use everything other than snipers in PVP, though I'd still really like to try Hereafter just once.

Nice man. Finally someone who understands that snipers are bs but that's probably not gonna change because...well bungie, and that we can adapt to them. I'm still trying to practice outplaying but I'll gut gud at it eventually!

Cant really change that. You're gonna have to adapt. Thank you for the post. The sniper is probably the one consistent pain in the butt I get great satisfaction from when I finally get one that's popped me in the head a couple of times. It's also nice when playing without chat and you notice several other teammates hard charging next to you going after the same sniper about halfway through the match.

As a sniper myself I thank you for this post because now my training will step up to the next level

or instead of being a one dimensional player learn how to snipe, shotgun, fusion, sidearm and primary. and play with all your classes and sub-classes. above all, have fun - or sweat your ass off chasing your kd.

I used to have a problem with Snipers... then i started practicing with them... Then i said -blam!- this noise and out shoot them with scout rifles more often then not

It's not the sniper. It's the shooters. The better gun wins and snipers are one hit kills to the head. No super activated or overshield equivalent person is immune to it (except for things when the level differences for events is present.)

Best way to counter snipers is to jump or slide to visual cover until u get close enough where u feel comfortable in engaging. It is all about making clever aproaches. Anyone can snipe someone who runs right at them. It is nearly impossible to snipe someone blink, jumping, shadestepping or sliding from box to box.

I play with patience and time and snipe from afar as I have since vanilla. Now you have people with their low zoom snapshot hidden hand snipers ready to quick scope you. I play like snipers are designed to be played with, not as a sniper

I hate when my scope is jumping all over the place, sometimes I just fire off a desperate round hoping to kill the person! Haha most of the time it fails, but every now and then it works and saves my ass!

Here's what your going to do. Your going to add your title to your description. Your going to copy your description. Your going to paste your description on every "NERF SNIPERS" post you find. This is proof enough that "Git gud" is an actual step in beating players, and that it ain't the sniper. It's the player.
