Sick of ToM
I'm sick of people kicking or not letting you do raids if you don't have touch of malice and/or black spindle I've done the raids before so screw off

You're essentially asking to be carried, the least you can do is increase your ability to be productive. Why choose you over someone more experienced or better equipped. I'm not saying it doesn't suck for you but it's understandable. My suggestion would be start your own groups or take the time to get the gear.

Yeah, people say that it goes faster that way... But regardless of the weapons, I'd rather have a competent player on my fire team any day. As long as they're dealing meaningful damage it doesn't matter what they use. Bungie wouldn't design a game where you had to have a specific weapon or class to beat it.

1 ReplyYeah you did two Kings Fall's before and ONE Vault of Glass... You are an expert at raiding you don't need ToM and Black Spindle. When Oryx saw you enter his throne he probably mistaken you for Chuck Norris and killed himself :)

I agree those weapons arent really mandatory to be successful but they make it easy and some people just want to ensure the easiest run.

Black spindle will out DPS everything at warpriest and golgoroth. The only exception is if you get a 1k stare with triple tap, casket mag and spray and pray and use sniper rifle loader gauntlets. Both the TOM and BS are quest weapons that are 100% guaranteed rewards if you do whats asked of you. And both the quests are so easy they are practically given to you. Just spend a few hours collecting the fragments. The black spindle mission is easy if you have a sword. And at 320+ light (which is practically given out these days) the mission is a joke. And you have beaten kings fall twice. And never on hard. You really shouldn't be complaining that people aren't letting you into teams that want to get it done fast.

It makes life a lot easier. And at this point you should work on getting at least Tom. You don't need spindle, 1kys can do the job just fine

1 Replyyou dont need them..but they help 6 ppl with high level spindle can make the difference between killing warpriest on the first round or scraping through to the second or third and risk wiping Same with golg. the quicker he dies the better, especially on challenge week often a lot of time is lost on the 2nd sister with people running to wrong plates or the runner getting launched, so if everyone has TOM you can often scrape through before the time runs out. some people say they play for fun, but cant be bothered to find calcified fragments or do the quest for sleeper simulant. personally i found these 'side / hidden' quests to be the most fun

If you do raids a lot why don't you get the best raid weapons? There's not much else to do in the game currently... finish that ToM quest and the Spindle strike.
