Next Destiny expansion leaked?
Maybe not. But Destiny has had a ton of leaks throughout its life. And this picture looks pretty convincing.

At first i thought this was a hoax but Kotaku has had very reliable 'insider info' in the past. You can hate on them if you want to but their leaked stuff has been mostly accurate. Some loose lips over at Bungie...

It is my goal to clear some things up. Firstly, I take my information from Kotaku's Jason Schrier. He predicted the Taken King subclasses before Bungie announced the trailer/anything. Not the expansion. He also predicted a major expansion in the fall/the delay of Destiny 2 before Bungie or Activision announced it. 1. This is not a PvP only expansion; it will definitely have PvE elements, including a Fallen Raid. Most likely this expansion will focus on the Iron Banner, but it will also focus on the events of the Twilight gap/a new Fallen gathering. [b]2. Jason Schrier on Kotaku: Correction - 5/20, 10:44am: I originally reported that the new raid is based on the one that was cut from House of Wolves, but this morning a source reached out to say that was incorrect, and that development on the new raid had actually started from scratch last summer. I apologize for the error.[/b] 3. This will be a paid expansion; Activision was very clear about a major expansion in the fall to their [b]investors[/b] (i.e. $$$$). 4. This is image is most likely set in the Cosmodrome around the walls/the walls of the City (forgot that; both are quite similar, so it could be either). The fact it takes place with the Fallen/Saladin only reaffirms this because of the battle of Twilight Gap. [b]It is the Cosmodrome: notice the Russian space program symbol.[/b] 5. This expansion will most likely be announced via Sony at E3. 6. The Cabal/their Raid will be waiting for you in Destiny 2. As for the veracity of this image itself, Kotaku confirmed it was real - I also can't see it being fake. Still don't believe me? Its a PR stunt to appease fans because ib and TOS are off this week. Its the anniversary of HOW, comes off of the back of their live stream confirming a new raid and leads nicely into e3. Simple

6 RepliesIf it is a Fallen Raid...either the cold of Europa Jupiter's moon...the House of Winter...yeessss! That's probably Destiny 2...I highly doubt that's content coming out this fall. It doesn't fit with the capabilities of the live team. If the content is to be free and solely paid for by transactions through Eververse...I highly doubt we will see a free raid. This content even if it was cut I seriously doubt we get it for free.
