So we can disable a perk from a super for over a month but we can't disable Clown Cartrige to ensure we play Trials and Banner?

12 RepliesThis Completely ridiculous considering they pulled a perk off a subclass and still ran trials... If one class can be singled out its fair? But when all 3 classes have a glitch then it's not fair lol Most twisted logic ever.

They may be also looking into more issues that clown cartridge/cocoon may cause. This isn't as simple as quiver was. As a long time crucible player and gamer, I know the advantage that this exploit would have been, and as a modern day gamer I also understand that these fixes may take time, and important events such as trials must close for these repairs to take place. ~[i]TheGreatNike[/i]

The weapon perk spans many weapon classes and messing with that code will likely fuddle up the rest of them. The perk from the super was isolated to hunters only and further more it was nightstalker only. It's a little more simple in that respect.

Seriously people...if you've never coded ever they by all means keep your thoughts to yourselves and move on about the difficulty of coding. If you feel it's an easy fix, then by all means proceed to enlighten everyone else. Fact is people can't get McDonald drive-thru orders correct to this day and some people can't distinguish Australia from Austria. In lieu of that, assuming coding is easy shows the vast ignorance of people on subject matter they have little to no authority to comment on.

1 ReplyThey disabled a perk from 1 sub-class. Removing clown cartridge is for more complicated being that every launcher but exotics can roll it.

3 RepliesHave I commented on this one? Whatever. Now, to begin with, I am not a coding expert. But, it seems like disabling a perk on something that only appears on that specific subclass is easy compared to disabling a perk that could appear on multiple different guns from multiple different sources. They also have to make sure you can't earn a weapon with this perk, and figure out why this even happened in the first place. Cut them some slack, it took like 8 months before it was even discovered this combination.

Lots of ppl want to play these modes without heavy anyway. This would have been the perfect opportunity to let everyone play without heavy, even if it was just this one time.
