So it's like buying a new weapon over again!
Edit 1: holy hell this post blew up
Got some great ideas going on this. Keep it going and get it trending so bungo sees it!
Edit 2: I see concerns that everyone would have God weapons. This is why the cost of rerolling has to be high. And a lot of people already pay for weapon engrams at the gunsmith. Basically we just doing the same thing except for its on the weapon of your choice. I would even be ok with 100 weapon parts. Max glimmer. And 200 marks for a chance at reroll
Edit 3: perks... A lot of people I see here saying get rid of the useless perks. While I somewhat agree. The useless perks ha e to be there so god rolls are not everywhere.
And I know how this sounds when I want rerolls.
But with the cost being high. I think it would be fair
Edit 4: very good ideas
Customization
Let us reroll scopes
Specific perks
Middle tree perks
And they all have their own cost of marks and can be only done once a week
Or on arms you you turn your weapon into the gunsmith for a chance to have a reroll like how arms day works
Very good ideas

100 only, allows two rolls from being capped out.

Just let us use the weapons we want and turn this game from a never ending grind for better rewards, to a never ending grind for having fun. When I don't have the gun I want, I have to play things I don't want to play to get the thing I want. My entire existence in this game turns into grinding game play I don't enjoy, to get the reward that I want to use in the piece of the game I do enjoy. This is dumb.

1 ReplyNot for 150 marks. 50-75 sounds reasonable.
-
I like that idea. It would give me a reason to start doing the daily activities again, weekly strikes, weekly crucible, etc. As it is now, I'm 335 on all characters, have all the armor I want with the perks I want, and have no reason left to play PoE, Raid, or anything besides Crucible with friends.
-
Yes and actually 150 is a reasonable price for reroling
-
2 RepliesI think 150 is a little too high. 50 is ok

Edited by CooPehLooP: 5/12/2016 5:48:06 PMPeople will say no because they like having an artificial advantage over the players that aren't as lucky....in the name of 'balance, diversity' Which is ironic, since everyone having access to the same guns/perks is the epitome of balance.
-
I approve.
-
this is a pretty good idea. i have to admit. that way people don't just keep hopelessly buying engrams from rahool only to get shafted with dissapointment
-
1 ReplyRerolling a weapon shouldn't cost as much as buying a new weapon. It should be the cost of a an engram, no really more than that. Like 50 or 75 sounds way more reasonable.
-
at least allow re-rolls for elements on special/heavy stinks to get an item that would be good, only to realize you already have one at least as good or better in the same element and you could really use one in a different element -doesn't affect perks -doesn't affect PVP
-
doesn't matter if you have a god roll sniper or shotgun if you can't use it well in the first place. I never saw a real problem with rerolling weapons, i was even disappointed we were never able to reroll armor- shit I'd have a full set of 'sublime' gear for all my characters by now if I could have done that.
-
maybe i could finally get a good imago loop
-
Edited by The Woolldozer: 5/12/2016 6:43:59 PMThe price is high. If you're going to allow rerolling, it shouldn't cost more than the gun itself. Maybe 50 Marks.
-
Or just be able to switch out one perk from weapons of the same type when you infuse them. So if you infuse an auto into another auto you can bring along one node. Eventually you'll have the auto you want but you need to find other legendary autos with higher light level to get there.
-
150 sounds a little much make it 25 or 50 plus a weapon synthesis and a gun rank up booster forgot the correct name for this
-
Tell me about it. Got a decent aegis of the reef after grinding last night on my hunter and it had the two worst possible sights in the game. Was very disgusted.
-
150 is too much, I understand the reason behind the high price but it should be around 50 marks, You would be able to get a few rolls in per week without abusing it like before and getting god rolls instantly

27 RepliesEdited by JasperGTR: 5/12/2016 5:19:00 PMHow about using all of that amazing research and server stats and find out which perks people actually use?? - keep those, get rid of ones people throw away, and create new ones that are useful. Then rerolling may not matter as much. Stability on a rocket launcher? Really? Definitely waayyyyyyyyyyy more useful than tripod, cluster bombs, grenades and horseshoes, or tracking... especially on a rocket launcher that only holds one round. But on that note - Bungie feels if we find weapons we like, we'll stop playing the game - so they want us in a perpetual state of discontent - so they want us to never like our weapons, I guess - or else there would be a way to choose perks (like in almost every other game in existence - in the form of accessories, add-ons, etc...). What kind of all-knowing gunsmith can't put a simple feature on a weapon?
-
Atleast the sights, because I have had a couple times when I get great perks, but the sights absolutely ruin it.
-
Eh imo make it 50 to reroll
-
Not a bad idea. But I feel like 50 marks would work

1 ReplyThis is how Felwinter became so notorious, how Bungie never saw everyone having a god I'll never know.A way I could see a Re-roll system would maybe be When a weapon drops you can pay 200 marks for a Re-roll once, you would then need to wait on the weapon dropping again for a Re-Roll.
